@treygoldz I would like someone to translate each stanza of the song for me because it's too deep for me to translate by myself. :-P Even the chorus "holding on is like the ways of the wind" is deep - dont know what it signifies.
@bansogirl -The title means that trying to hold on to a relationship with this person is virtually impossible. The "ways of the wind" means that it is never predictable and there is no control or even a pattern to follow. It even makes him examine himself for even trying.
@willisgw Wow.....thank you so much for this. That makes sense. If you have time can you translate each stanza? This song is too deep for me.....yet I'm so curious to understand all the hidden meanings in it.
The first time I heard this song was a couple of days ago when I found a 1993 Friday Night Videos on a VHS tape. Good song and it really captures the mood (musically) of the 1960's
Do you know whether this other video was set to a different version of the song? When this came out as as single, it was remixed as a dance song. Is the other video set to that version?
It's too bad that this video wasn't set to the actual single release on the radio, which was remixed into a dance song. I really thought making it more danceable made it more cool. One of my favorite PM Dawn singles.
wasn't there like a ill a-- hip hop beat remix version of the song? i can't find it nowhere.

I remember first hearing this in Panama City in 1994. I was 12 then. I liked it, but never heard much of this song again after that.....til now
