Dave Dowle from the band Runner played on his Aleecat CD studio version. Alan and Dave were both founding members of Runner.

He's done two very different versions of this song. One on the CD "Aleecat" and one on "Cupid Deranged." This Merrill composition was covered by Lou Rawls (Epic) and Catherine Howe (Arista).

The 1983 LP this was on has not yet been reissued by Epic. But it's on his Lou Rawls "Love Songs" compilation album.

Lou Rawls version is on ebay in vinyl LP format, and on one of his compilation CDs titled Love Songs (he has about three compilations CDs with that title on different labels) which I've seen (it's very expensive) on amazon uk.

I hear that! The camera mic has lots of treble top end on the sound and mega output from the built in compressor limiter! Wow, it's loud!

This song was also recorded by the great Catherine Howe in 1980, she's a fantastic folk rock singer out of the UK on Arista records.
