FYI to anyone doing this tutorial. If you get confused and your loop isnt sounding normal - make sure that at 2:24 in the video, you realize he's dragging it over an eighth note, not a 16th note like he said. Took me a minute to figure that one out haha! otherwise fantastic tutorial! so much fun!
@beatman1620 Not everyone has Max for Live. This method also allows you to control your arrangement on the same "page" as the looper, so even if you have max for live, it frees up user 2 mode for a step sequencer or whatever else you might want to use.

Save the time and get the Max for Live Clip chopper patch.
