I was robbed at knifepoint. I'm a restaurant server and bartender and people know we leave with cash at night. I was robbed of almost $400 cash after a 16 hour double on a holiday. I'm also a full time student. Some turd took my money and since then I carry one in my glovebox, one in my center counsel, one on my hip, a benchmade rift on my pocket. That robbery really helped me stimulate the US economy with all my purchases :) But the fact is I deserve to defend myself, and I'm glad you did too

You say that you didn't see the car in the parking lot as you approached the ATM, and you let these guys drive up on you and get close to you. Do you think your situational awareness wasn't as high as it should have been? I mean, if you had seen the car and that it was occupied your alert level might have gone up; and when the lights came on and the car came toward you do you think you should have gone back to your car for cover and distance instead of waiting until they were up on you?
As far as I'm concerned, anyone who goes to an ATM in their vehicle at 2:00 AM is asking for trouble whether they like to do what they want when they want or not. Gun or no gun.

I was threatened while on my motorcycle one day. A guy thought I cut him off when I passed him. And was tailgating a foot off my fender. My Dad(on the bike ahead of me) and myself pulled over to let him pass. He stopped in the middle of the street to tell us to get back on the road so he could run us down. You say that you didn't see the car in the parking lot as you approached the ATM, and you let these guys drive up on you and get close to you. Do you think your situational awareness wasn't as high as it should have been? I mean, if you had seen the car and that it was occupied your alert level might have gone up; and when the lights came on and the car came toward you do you think you should have gone back to your car for cover and distance instead of waiting until they were up on you?

Good job, very responsible gun use but might not want to use the ATM in a dark deserted parking lot at 2am, just common sense. If the two of them had guns, knives or even empty hands and ran up on you faster, you would have been in deep shit. None the less thank you.

@aquaphone The situation was far from ideal, but in a situation such as this, had it been ideal, it wouldn't have happened. I had just gotten off work. Needless to say, returning to make this video was the first time back since the incident.

@aquaphone Well, as far as not using an ATM machine at 2 am isn't the point. ATM are there for a reason. They are there as a convenience, to be used around the clock. Unlike you, there are times when people have to get some cash, during the most unlikely times of day or night.

I was threatened while on my motorcycle one day. A guy thought I cut him off when I passed him. And was tailgating a foot off my fender. My Dad(on the bike ahead of me) and myself pulled over to let him pass. He stopped in the middle of the street to tell us to get back on the road so he could run us down. Scary shit and he's lucky I wasn't packing that day.

@kjjjkjjjkjjjk Similar thing happened while I was on my motorcycle on the freeway. They tried running me off the road. I stopped, and they got onto the shoulder and tried to come back for me. A bunch of kids. I gunned the throttle and got away so fast it was never really an issue.

why im going to carry after the 10th of feb, i turn 21 and am buying a 45, well any how i was at my house were i live with my wife and 2 kids it was around 6am my wife was at work and my kids at thare aunts house, so i am in my room folding some clothing and i hear my window shater so droed down to my floor grabed my 3030 and went to the window at that time i see a man with a bat i fire a shot hit him in the left shoulder. cops came took a report and the man was found at the local hosptial.

I wish you put a bullet or two in them. Woulda saved other innocent people from getting robbed by these guys. These people DO NOT learn from their mistakes. Sure, you pulled a gun out on them, but that's not gonna stop them from trying it again. Hell, check the police reports in your area, I bet they even hit the same ATM.

So the cops knew there were people robbing other people at that ATM around that time frame, yet they weren't watching that ATM? Those are horrible cops. And if it was me, I would have blasted those guys into the ground. Because the next time they rob someone they will have a gun themselves.
