@xXTearShineXx They're both wrong its a front side board slide. If you are a Regular rider counter clock wise turn is front side clockwise is back, goofy is the opposite frontside clockwise, back side counter clockwise.

@ctpaintball4life You're wrong :P It's front side. He's a Regular footed rider, when you start spinning counter clock wise in a regular stance that's front side. When your back goes into the turn first that's back side (aka clock wise for regular riders)

If you do a lip slide approach with the rail behind you its called a BS lip slide despite the fact that you are going backwards (common misconception.)

It has nothing to do with the direction you are facing or the way you spin on to the rail. Its all about the approach and where you are in reference to the rail.

BS Boardslide, because his backside edge is more near to the obstacle then his frontside edge , before he jumps on. BS or FS has nothin to do with the direction in which you are sliding.

Bs lipslide(regular) would be a kind of transfer-you pop off at the left side of the rail.

You turn a 90 and transfer the obstacle to the right while turn a ninty and do a normal bs boardslide

im pretty sure its not how your body changes direction it where your board meets the rail first. same with nollie it changes around but doesnt change for fakie or in snowboarding cabs are for frontside spins and switch is for backside spins

its the way you approach the rail. back side when a person who rides regular is slightly to the right of the rail. if he rides right passed the rail it will be behind him but when he jumps on and turns 90 his front will be facing down hill

The naming of rail tricks depends on the position of the riders body relative to the rail. Ie. The basic tricks from the way he approached the rail would be bs 50/50 (going straight), bs board(front of body down mtn), and bs lip(back of body down mtn).
