As pro-Alliance as I am, I find this short to be a decent change. It does not fill me with burning rage and hatred for the Forsaken, who have yet to show, as a whole, to be no different than the Scourge, and it shows that a Forsaken, or at least this individual, can be quite sympathetic.

A horrible fate and as I understand it, when a Forsaken finally loose himself as well he reseeds into be a mindless drone of the Scourge once more.

This reminds me of the movie awakenings where some catatonic mental patients are given a treatment that returns them to the wold, just to have it robbed from them some time later when their bodies cease to respond to the treatment. A sad fate.
