Man, this was TOUCHING. Amusing, yes, very much so - but the reality behind it's message was so clear and desparate for manifestation. Thanx, Tim, I very share this wish, I hope we can all make it come true one day....
@TheScrewedGeneration Great! When I was a kid I wanted to BE J.J. He was a good artist and he thought it was cool to be skinny. (also Bill Cosby was a big influence thus the "fat albert" lines.
Keep these coming. They are going to help the kids. That old brother Chester P. Scrooge is in every Kingdom Hall. We used to call him Chester the Molester.
Happy and sad. Inside, I really did both laugh and cry. All the children wanted was to play and have fun, while the adults all neglected that for a so-called life after we die. Liked. Favorited. Sigh.
Some of my happiest memories are of the Christmas parties we had at the little chapel my family and I used to go to when I was little. They spared no effort to create a happy and magical atmosphere for us children, and we learned a great deal about a good God, who wants to do good things for us, ultimately in sending Jesus, which was what we were celebrating.
I was thinking while I watched this...(oh no!). Growing up, we had to listen repeatedly about how the origins of all these holidays were bad, and that no matter what form they come in today - we had to avoid them because they were unclean. None of the holidays resemble their original forms BUT neither does the WTS. I think it's origins should be considered by anyone following the rule.
@Revolt1680 you know... I never thought of that. They used to allow smoking...My father smoked as a teen with his mother's permission. They didn't make that rule until later.
excellent work, art and script very good.

@SomeStylistGuy That's why my Dad was disfellowshipped, when the rules changed, he didn't see any point in changing his one cig a day habit.

Brother Scrooge had his arms folded on stage? Someone needs to give that guy a "needs improvement". Just sayin'.

Very moving and somewhat sad. The kids in there really do need a hero. It's a stunting experience to grow up as a jdub kid.
Nicely done, Tim! You've produced quite the holiday tale for all.
