For instance, the per person monthly Medicare insurance premium will be increased from the 2009 premium of $96.40 to $104.20 in 2010, and to $120.20 for the year 2011. That is an increase of 25% in two years, what do you think what will happen with National Health Care?

The public option, whether it passes or not, is quite meaningless in the whole scheme of things. The working majority of us, insured or not, will not be able to even to use it if it were to become law.

We need to move to a single-payer system, not universal or this worthless public option, we need to get ALL private insurance companies OUT of health care. If one wishes to have private coverage they can obtain it overseas as most insurance companies are global now.

Single-payer is affordable.

It would not only help with eliminating our national debt, something the bankers do not want this country to do, it would totally get rid of administrative costs and cut fraud in half, thus lowering health care prices altogether. Actually, a government run health care system with a oversight committee would cut almost 100% of administrative costs, and being the private sector is responsible for over 70% of the medical fraud the money we would save would probably be more than 50%.
