isnt it treu that when the same amount of fp would actualy burn faster without releasing its energie much faster then with the S the S make's it slower but not stronger, i think there's less mass with then without --- if im wrong, do respond..so into fpowders :P

The S makes the flash powder 'collect' it's strength and then releases it all at once. It has a different release envelope.

3 gram potassium perchlorate

3 gram (dark)aluminum powder/magnalium/magnesium

1 gram sulfur

all have to be very fine powder. mix very gently only with paper or wooden tools. only make small batches!

why would you add sulfur to that composition. 70/30 potassium p. to dark aluminum is the way to go. adding sulfur to the mix is only going to make it ALOT more sensitive. why would you want to do that? to be more powerful? sorry i would rather keep my hands, my arms, and my life.

i totally agree...the 70/30 kclo4/al mix is the best and theres nothing to gain from adding sulfur it is a good way to injure or kill yourself. i use the finest german dark i can find, like 3-4 micron.

still, sulfur does gets visible when a nice flash explodes, i tested it and found that my bangers with S where a bit orange like but not louder then without the S..

i recommend the safest way - dont use the S doesnt help to gain burnspeeds,but helps to make youre mix sensitive for a naked flame(and friction ofc )+ it doenst get more powerfull, it gets slower - peace

Bout 13 years ago we were at a family picnic. My uncle lit somethin big off without tellin anyone. Next thing we knew there was a loud KA-BOOM! The echo was loud, could feel the ground vibrate. Made a big mushroom cloud. Said it was a M-80 but he was probably wrong, it was probably a half stick. It sounded louder and more powerful with the boom it made and the big cloud like the explosion in your video. It sucked that he only had one, not sure where he got it from.
