Good, but over in the uk we have the same thong that come in large quantities (packs of 24 for £2-£3) in blister type packaging. They are sold as BBQ starters but do exactly the same thing.

i've found that chunks of this doesn't take a spark that good. but if you scrape off some of it in a pile or something it lights instantly

if you're using a firesteel or any sort of sparker like this, wet fire tabs light a lot faster and easier if you crush a bit of it to throw your sparks at and then sit the large chunk on that powder.

As far as i knew. Its recommended to alost shave the fire stick into a little pile of shavings.. then strike over that. You will get a hotter concentrated burn upon striking! Little tip. Give it a try. Love your videos man!

It's easier to throw an accurate spark if you place the blade in front of where you want the spark and pull the steel away from it.

I have been using the Weber Fire Starters. I believe that they re exactly or very close to being the same thing as the WetFire cubes.

They sure are a lot less expensive!

As Flaslightfreak9 said, you can crumble it up to increase surface area. Also, when you light your tinder, you can pull out the wetfire cube and extinguish it with your hand. It doesn't actually hurt :D

Yes, that is correct. I usually slice of wafer thin pieces ... and they DO catch much faster. One block of that wetfire can last you for many a fire! Great stuff!
