This is probably the hardest boss i have ever played in a video game..well maybe except the Devil in Guitar Hero. I got this game when it first came out..i beat it on hardened or whatever no problem and Insane was not too bad neither but when i got to Raam on Insane..OMGG. Your teammate is pretty much useless. The only way i beat him is glitching. In Gears2 the boss is WAYYYY to easy...i dont even know if i could extend the "way" enough letters to explain it.

This worked for me. First I tried like 4 or 5 times, then I thought "this guy loads a previous chapter, that might be the trick" so I quit the campaign and then went to Load previous chapter, Raam glitched the first time I tried. If this isn't working for you, you may wanna try what I did.

I just discovered another way of taking him down easily. After grabbing shotgun and some ammo just head out to fight, get behind first big block and sit there. Shoot lond distance with lancer and blindfire with shotty once he's at the block! He never goes around it just sits there!

In order to unlock General RAAM for GoW 2, you must unlock the "A Dish Best Served Cold" achievement in GoW 1.

For Minh, unlock the "Time to Remember" achievement in GoW 1 as well.

but luckaly 600 fixees to the cover system and removing a large portion of the lagg wil make a lot of thigns better, now just to fix the bloody "your cooping split screen but have to start in different teamsmost of the time" thing... ( hope the party system in gears 2 fixes this )

The trick works, but if you want the fastest kill. USE THE SHOTGUN. Only used 2 full clips of shotgun rounds at close range, whole thing lasted 30seconds. Takes a few trys to get him to walk up to the block though. Enjoy!

Well, a similar bug appeared while I was playing. RAAM climbed a block (wtf?!) and got stuck. I just had to use my bow to scare the Kryll off and then attack his head. When I got low on ammo I started using grenades and that was everything. Funny... :P

you can also just use two controllers, then run up to the turrent, and bring the other character with you, but leave him at the bottom where the light is, then basically shoot him and when u die use your friend to heal you =]
