I'm watching Rusty Cooley because I enjoy shred. I also enjoy music that's not shred (imagine that).
But to deny that what Rusty is doing is not complex is plain foolish. You are confusing speed with complexity. He's playing a repeating linear diminished pattern with no variance whatsoever.
That doesn't make it bad. It doesn't make it good. But it's not complex.
I can't take you seriously when you declare what is and is not music -- you're just as bad anyone who declares shred is not music.

Rusty's music is devoid of fluid dynamic contrast, is metrically simple, and frankly, most of the rhythm guitar parts are harmonically unadventurous. The only "complicated" aspect is the lead playing, and again, even that is rhythmically simple ("fast" does not mean "complicated").
You surely don't think Outworld is "uncomplicated and stupid"?

The point of my comment was clearly in defense of supposedly simple music. I was not saying that simple music is bad and complex music is good (or vice versa). My example was obviously an absurdist example.
Clearly, reading comprehension is not your strong suit, but perhaps next time you feel compelled to call somebody an idiot, it would be in your best interest to make sure that person is not actually agreeing with what you have to say, or just keep your mouth shut altogether.
