  • @mscottveach lol

  • I'm A developer and this was a GREAT review for this product and this guy is terrific!

  • God, why are people flocking to these horrible note taking apps? Since when is note taking the same as using a stylus that has the precision of an eraser? Take a look at the HP Tm2, that's what real note taking is all about. It actually simulates paper note taking. This is utter crap in comparison. The ipad doesn't come with a stylus for a reason.

  • guys don't buy an iPad for handwritten notes : it sucks. Wait for a proper Wacom-enabled Windows 8 Slate (eg: Samsung series 7 slate) coming in 2012. I tried the developer's preview on a slate and it's impressive.

  • that's the idea

  • gui looks fine... This app alone makes me want to buy an ipad. Splitting up notes and to folders would be awesome.

  • Hey,

due to this video, i bought this app.

What made me really happy is that there are many great improvements since that video was made. Nearly all things are implemented that have been discussed as TODOs in the video.

  • why is the design of the GUI so ugly? Its like windows 95 design

  • @shebotnov It looks very cool now.

  • worst mistake i ever made was to buy this app! Later i discovered a much better one called Upad :( and for the same price :(

  • Holy Shit!!!! I like this.

  • Best review i,ve seen! Excellent job interviewing the creator. I am buying an ipad, and this app, because of this video. What is the app makers favorite stylus?????

  • @willmon8 Don't be a typical consumer and see one video and rush into a purchase this is what is wrong with our world. I know a trustee in bankruptcy and he sees people everyday and guess what a majority of them have Ipad's and a lot of them failed out of University or school because they relied on something to do the work for you and it WILL BACKFIRE every time you do not retain information as well when your 500 dollar tablet does the work for you.

  • @theEpowell1245 wow... please, be more insane.

  • i can see how this doesn't work when you have to write super fast notes.....u have no time to magnify or do other craps

  • I can offer you free DAGi stylus if you would like to evaluate.

  • Nice app. Do you want to evaluate DAGi stylus on this app. If you want, I can offer you free sample. My email address is jason at dagi com tw

  • Any reason the camera operator felt it absolutely necessary to zoom in on Dans face and beard...just wondering?

  • This seals it -- am now going to buy an iPad ------ THANKS!

  • is sad to say im actually excited to use this app for my notes come next semester?

  • Can you use the keyboard with this? I'm assuming you should be able to...

  • @the1disco i dont know if you already know your answer, but note taker doesnt allow keyboard input, however note plus hd does.

  • @lobextomy

Yeah I bought it a long time ago haha.

    Thanks though.

  • I'm using and loving how it has changed my interaction with my iPad. Being able to cut and paste a portion of the page would be a useful addition.

  • since you are already making it on iPad, why not make the interface prettier so that it's on par with all other apps?

  • best stylus HTC transparent capacitive stylus.

  • very cool app! One question: can it be used vertically? I mean, to hold it like a book...

  • camera guy, enough with the tight face shots! zomg

  • The developer of this application is a truly incredible person. Not only does he have a clear grasp of cutting edge technology, but he also has the ability to take that technology and use it to create innovative and new applications that quite literally shape the world we live in. One such example is the development of the spreadsheet some three decades ago. It's no understatement to say, this application is perhaps as revolutionary as the iPad itself. Why? Because just like the iPad, the prem

  • you know what's faster, easier, less expensive than this? Pencil and paper

  • @measles27 This is true, but it's far easier to get notes from that iPad to the internet, or to other computers. With a piece of paper, you need to scan each page individually.

  • @measles27 totally

  • good app, keep up the good work.

Man if only apple would release and ipad with a digitizer pen

  • @abvmoose87 if you mean a stylus, you can buy a PogoSketch (the best stylus ever), $20 at most apple stores

  • Pretty impressive stuff

  • I think Notetaker is still lacking some things yet. I would personally choose from my wishlist send and editable file to other note taker users, the possibility to include an image or web snapshot and use connection with other apps.. I also hope we'll be seeing a nicer icon and interface in the future, but for now I believe that note taking users are looking more for functionality. Despite all these, I prefer notetakerhd over all the other note-teking apps i've been using: penultimate smartnote

  • @fullmint

I agree with you. My daughter and I are looking for an e-note taker for a long time that can integrate Powerpoint into the application. Now all the classes in colleges and seminars are presented with Powerpoint, but we can not take notes on the slides on the screens.
