Penny was good, not a great player before the injury. people are mislead into thinking he was MJ or something. it was all marketing hype created by nike. their have been a LOT of players as good or better than Penny during the last 20 years
I'm a 5'8 white guy and I can do 360 dunks. Anyone can do it, you just need to follow the right training program . I used the one at snipurl[dot]com/nbatraining but any training program is fine as long as they work
penny could have had a stellar career had he been healthy and remained in orlando with shaq. that wud have been the dynasty rather than the kobe/shaq one in LA.
we miss u penny! my fave magic player and the reason why i love the orlando magic!
mj has met a great rival in penny coz penny is the ultimate complete player in the history of the nba. size advantage to guards. quickness that can easily blow forwards and smarts of playing unselfish basketball plus deadly outside shooting from 3pt. range upto half court all in all his a complete package. only injuries denied the fact if a prime healthy penny could surpass mj?
I think he can't surpass MJ but he would have made it as one of the top 10 or top 20 players in NBA history. penny's my favorite player one of the smartest in NBA history. he is an athletic, all-around finesse player. gotta love em
maybe more complete player he could've surppassed MJ but as a scorer i dont think so. and in terms of championships in todays league he could have had as much success as MJ or maybe a little less
Penny was the man , was a big Orlando fan with him and Shaq. Penny had mad hops and one the cleanest drives. His jump shot wasnt bad either!! What a legend, if it wasn't for injuries he would be compared to like of Jordan Bird etc.
well actually t macs favorite player which he has said a million times is penny hes the reason he wears the number 1 and everything that was his fave so when he got to da magics is like hmmm why not and t mac rep that 1 pretty good i wish grant hill would of been healthy when they were in da magics
They couldn't retire his number so T-Mac got it. The casual basketball fan might get the 2 mixed up. They look similar with their moves, but Penny is a better passer, T-Mac is a slightly better scorer.
It was nobody like Penny, he was a hybrid I compare him to a 6 ft 8 inch Isiah Thomas. Point guard with amazing court awareness and crazy hops. To bad he hurt that knee he was never the same. Where is Lil Penny?
Nice video,Penny was the man, too bad his comeback didn't work out. I like that song, Monica and Swizzie, that was nice, anyone know the name? If you do just post on my wall, Thanks!
he was a completely different breed of player. he was a mix of both mj and magic. who in the nba today is like that? kobe? no, shoots too much. Lebron? maybe...yeah okay i guess Lebron haha
You're a dumbass if you think Lebron is in Penny's league the guy has a shitty mid range game and his dribble sucks. Have you ever seen Penny play damn? Stupid bandwagon fools

Penny+Shaq+Horace were great trio. I liked them so much.
Too sad that Penny adn Grant Hill suffered too many injuries. Both could have been megastars. Now they are "only" stars.

Besides Gary Payton & Nick Van Exel, Anfernee Penny Hardaway was my favorite player ever. Grant Hill was a straight baller too

Lebron's court awareness, athleticism, and ability to finish after contact is comparable to Penny's but his post and midrange game is nonexistent.
