I'll bet that ninety percent of the acts in Congress are authorized by Article I, Section 8: "To borrow money on the credit of the United States". It is by this power that your "trusted" politicians have partnered up with those New York bankers to steal money from the citizenry to the tune of $14 Trillion National debt, and annual deficits in the trillions now. People should demand that this power be abolished by an amendment.

There's an easier way. Vote all the scumbags out and DEMAND term limits for EVERY Congressional office, Representative or Senator. That way, there won't be "career" politicians thinking they have the right to do whatever they want and ignore their constituents. If there happens to be some asshole elected, he'll be out of office in 6 years and someone else will be elected...hopefully someone who listens to those who elected him.

You would also be destroying the ability of vigilance in the part of the population from being able to continually fight for their freedom in congress. Term limits for executives make sense, but not for reps. Senators should be treated as ambassadors of the states in the federal congress without the aid of the 17th amendment that allows them to be bought and sold. Also, I think they should have 4 year term limits like presidents, but on a different rotating schedule.

This will then provide evidence to set a SCOTUS precedent that the courts don't need to review constitutionality because it is obviously a "political" question that has already been settled by Congress. The Courts will use this as an excuse to not intervene in the business of Congress or the rules it has set for itself to conduct business. The Constitution will even back that position up since the power to set such rules is granted to each chamber alone.

Thanks I guess, but it isn't my imagination. The Courts have refused to hear many cases based on the "political" question test. This will give them the excuse to do it again. It won't be a powerful drumbeat in their face, they will use it to IGNORE you. Read my posts again. This will backfire.

I think it is time to ask our military to intervene and protect our country from fascism and the tryants in the democratic government they are there to protect our consitution and our country from all enemies foreign and domestic. Does anyone know how we can get this going ?

No, Its' unconstitutional to ahve the military participate in any domestic law enforcement. We need to know our Constitution.

Unfortunately, I do not believe such a law would make any difference whatsoever. Congress will simply tack on a supported by label that ultimately is irrelevant to the judiciary, anyway. I would rather see a Constitutional Amendment that required certification of knowledge (a passing grade) on the Constitutions meaning to run for public office. It seems only right to actually require those who take an oath to defend and support it to know something about it. Tad

What if this certification were impossible to attain unless you were sponsored by the Republican or Democratic party? What if you could only acquire such certification upon the approval of the party currently in power?

Great Idea but most the corrupt criminals in Congress have no idea what is in the Constitution. Everyday they pass laws that are unconstitutional.

The latest example is the Obama take over of the Board of Directors of a Private Company, GM. He has no legal right to interfere with a private company or to Fire the CEO and set pay scales. This is a sticky subject for Congress. It forces them to admit they're NOT following our Constitution. We already know that, but them admitting they swore and oath to our Constitution and then ignored it is another matter. They will try to ignore you. We need to be more pro-active than calling and leaving a message. The video suggested requesting a written response, and that's a good start. Over 90% of Americans didn't want the bailouts but they passed them anyway. Demand representation!

No, the judicial branch of government refers to the establishment and use of the U.S. Supreme Court. 3 branches of US govt are Judicial (Supreme Court), Legislative (Congress+Senate), and finally the Executive (POTUS).
