  • My knee is doing fairly well. I'm a soccer player and at the age of 50 and just recently started to play again. It does not feel 100% but I can run and kick a ball with little issue. I played a competitive game for the first time this past weekend and really felt good. My knee has never swelled which is a good sign. I'm resigned to the fact it will never be 100%. I have some pain up and down stairs but I can live with that for now. Did you have the same surgery?

  • @gazzabernst How does your knee feel now?

  • Awesome video with the doctor explaning the procedure step by step

All I got was pictures of my Microfracutre Surgery.

    Thanks for sharing

  • @2mariebl What is the result of your surgery? How does your knee feel now that it is completely healed?

  • @zigzigerblat I am not able to walk down the stairs the right way curbs are a problem for me to.

I went to the gym every day last week and had a hard time doing the cardio step classes that I use to could do for three hours. I was having a hard time with keeping up less lone the new movements. Plus I am in pain just at in giving time When I get I the car from driving I have to stand for a moment before I can start walking. I took another MRI on April 1. 2011.

  • @zigzigerblat As of today I have not seen the doctor for the results. Hope that this has helped. Next year will make a year since my surgery. Did you have Microfracture Knee Surgery ?

  • @2mariebl I really feel for you. This is such a flaw in the design of our body. I think it takes time to grow the fibrocartilage though. I have not had the surgery, though I have dislocated my knee bad and never had surgery. There is a lingering twinge sometimes. Tai Chi and Chinese Kung fu taught by masters from china have helped heal my knee. I recommend it only from the best teachers.

I can't work out now because I need hernia surgery and also ankle surgery. I am screwed. Get better!

  • @zigzigerblat I am so sorry to hear that . Thanks for sharing that with me and I hope that you have a successful surgery.

    Marie

  • @2mariebl Well, my problem is also, I do not have health insurance so I don't know when and if I will get the surgeries.
