jayasmo...you need to look at his speeches when he ran for the senate and his speech during the 2004 DNC, and his book, which he started writing well before Patrick ran for office, all include the THEME his campaign has been running on...and all those are BEFORE PATRICK!!!! So if anyone is stealing anything, it's patrick (probably with the permissin of Obama), since Obama won with that message to get his senate seat.

Hope and Change are central themes to the two books he has written, was theme in his run for State senate, was the theme of his DNC Speech in 2004...seeing that Patrick is a close friend of his, who ran for Governor, and seeing how succesful it was for barack in his senate run, I can see Obama helping his friend out with this same message. If there is one thing consistent about Obama, it's his theme and message, which has been the same since he started in Congress

I can see why Massachussets overwhelmingly voted for Clinton instead of Obama despite the latter having the support of Kennedy, Kerry and Patrick. They voted for hype two years before in supporting Patrick, but it seems there was buyers remorse this time around, and they chose substance instead.
