I completely disagree with President Obama's approach to the economy. I believe we need to stop depending on credit, save, stop fractional reserve banking, liquidate bad businesses and banks, and hold executives accountable. The problem is that people will struggle through these times no matter what. A "stimulus" will only prolong the inevitable.
I think that we should also spend money on infrastructure and science along with tax relief. We need science so we can cure cancer in our life time. We are in need of infrastructure so we can have fundamental facilities and systems serving this country.
The next would be tax relief for all the Americans who just can't afford to pay bills or continue living with sleepless nights of the economy getting worse. Tax relief as it states in it's name is a great relief that we need.
And how exactly has Obama not protected us from terrorism? I haven't seen any attacks >_>

People got loans and lost their homes mostly due to predatory lending, something Bush did nothing about. Those mortgage companies that offered balloon mortgages need to go under. Many people were not aware they could not own the homes they got, because mortgage companies did the paperwork in front of them and reassured them they would be able to make around the same payments on a 30 adjustable if they did not want to lock in.

corporations have quarterly financial disclosures, all you have to do is request it...the corporation I work for posts it online for anyone to view. I have never seen the government post any spending or financial disclosure...the top 1% pay 37% of taxes, the top 10% of americans pay 68% of all the taxes, the top 25% pay 85% of all taxes collected, the bottom 50% pay only 3% of the taxes. so what do all these numbers mean? the poor don't pay taxes while the rich get soaked.

I believe we need to stop depending on credit, save, stop fractional reserve banking, liquidate bad businesses and banks, and hold executives accountable. The problem is that people will struggle through these times no matter what. A "stimulus" will only prolong the inevitable.
