  • I've never seen heard her sing this song. I've been told I look like her, but can't sing like her. :)

  • Just wonderful.

    Thanks.

  • Whos sing this song on the end of the movie "The Out of Towners?????"

  • Love this song. Love this arrangement and version the best of any of them, even ahead of Chevalier in the move. It's a close second with all the effects and wondrous editing. :)

  • Good song, it's sad only a few people know this song today.

  • @TheMoviefan1996 we sang it for choir auditions. so a lot of people learned it fter that.

  • I love this song .. Jeanette brings something so special to it. Thank you.

  • @saxondog2001 A G R E E ROGHARM love the 30's arrangement and voice is great!!!!!!!******played in the operatic minor key. love thank you for posting. the song style is r o m a n t i c!!!!!!LOVEIT thanks.

  • I love Jeanette, this song... Thanks!

  • It's sounding in Sabrina movie very well)))

  • Oh! I just fell in love with this song (easier with songs than with people). Thanks very much for posting it.

  • Bobparis is a genius. My most sincere admiration.

  • i sing this song for choir here at valley high school in Santa ana

  • The quirky sound of Nat Finston and the Paramount Studio Orchestra comes through, even on this vocal record. Note the moaning, sliding trombone and saxes, and the hint of coconuts.

  • @bobparis COULD DIAGREE MORE. I LOVE JENETTE AND FINSTON GREAT TEMPO. THIS IS ART DECO MUSIC 1928-30'S. ROGHARM GREAT TEMPO GREAT VOICE YOU DO NOT APPRECIATE QUALITY. ROGHARM

  • Every word I wrote was in PRAISE of the sound of Nat Finston and the Paramount Orchestra? I LOVE Nat Finston!!!

  • @bobparis You betcha! This song is first introduced in the film to a lot of synced sounds and scenes. Very clever and very hard to do in those early days of talking pictures. Also requires a lot of patience and mix to pix even today with computers!

  • Having heard Ella, I can't listen to this.

  • I've always loved Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy! To think I've tried to hear them on the internet, but found them finally here! Hooray! Lizzy _Tish

  • Jeanette re-recorded this number again 25 years later,on September 30,1957 for RCA Victor, but it was never released.

  • Surely, the most lovely and talented of all the singing actresses to ever grace the silver screen. With no disrespect to the ladies who succeeded her, we shall not see her like again.

  • No argument whatsoever and her films with Nelson Eddy were released before both of us were born. Just compare her perfect diction to the mumbling and screaming pop singers of today.

  • Lovely! any chance of posting the other side of Jeanette's record ? the theme song "Love Me Tonight"?

  • I like Jeanette's version better than Bogart's--no offense.

  • It's great to hear the lyrics of the verse. Thank you!

  • Beautiful song. I liked it in Sabrina with Humphrey Bogart.

  • Beautiful song!

  • This is so lovely. Thank you!

  • Great rendition of an all time classic. Different lyrics than usual and alot perkier.Keep them coming and from all vintage music lovers,THANKS!

  • Thanks!
