its not basic its straight forward. and its as it is because in a way it is effective( karate u need 3 years to become somewhat of a fighter MT 3 month)
Although I can't translate Japanese I think what he is trying to explain is the use of the tension (when you throw a hand forward)down one side to bring your hips into action and initiate that quick foward/turning kick.
The hand jab also serves to set up or disguise the following kick.
We can all train to deliver a single technique but learning how to create the opening to use it is another (higher) skill altogether.
hey buddy, have you ever seen a muay thai kick? what about a thai fighter? hmm...lets think. we've got something that is remenisant to a thai kick, some hard ass asian(probally thai) kicking the shit out of a bag. put two and two together and you get a THAI FIGHTER AKA MUAY THAI!!
I would love to learn a form of martial arts.(Among other things.) And I hope that when that time comes, me teacher will be as professional as you appear to be.
thank u so much!i got first comment from u,mmarzec.that is my great pleasure.not to mension,we will keep it up special videos from kakukuri tv,tokyo, japan!

the rear front kick handles intimidation, while the front leg front snap kick handles stealth and speed

Mutyai is real basic, Seido and Kyukushin karate are alot more versitle when it comes to kicks. Look at Feitosa and Filiho...
