Overall I thought this was excellent, the garden bit onwards was box office movie like and the ending was styled back into the game view. As a game trailer it was as good as the pros, well done!

@xxxm0ris if you used the scientific name for them, you would just call them testicles. and a ball, is a sphere. and i explain "soccer" you put your foot to the ball, which is a ball (or made of enough poylgons to make up a ball) as for calling testicles balls, just like nuts, it's a laymans name for them. the true name for an american "football" is Vesica Piscis. which is the basic shape you get at the centre of a venn-diagram.

What software did you use to make this? I've been wanting to make my own shorts but am on a limited budget I checked Blender 3D but it is way to complicated to learn and they have no manual that is useful or stuff that is compatible with newer stuff any suggestions for someone on a budget?!

@blameist making videos like these is much, much more complicated than modelling simple opjects in software like Blender not to mention years of training to achieve this level of detail. And on top of that you need a very powerful computer.

The animation feels really...clunky and as if everything pops from one pose to another with no real sense of weight or anything. Other than that, this was pulled off rather well.

@nomanis2cool I understand it may have been intentional to add a sense of urgency and a feeling of uneasiness to the shot. But, the explanation that it was intended to be quick and light doesn't fit. It pops from pose to pose and doesn't ever settle. It sort of just hits a wall and stays there until he moves into the next pose. Sorry, I'm a student of 3D animation so I have the curse of noticing things like this. Don't get me wrong, I love this. But, overall, it just feels unfinished, honestly.

You've missed the entire point of this, all i've been saying this entire time, is that calling it a ball is stupid, because it's not a ball. a ball is a sphere, or a shape made up of enough polygons to make a close enough shape to a sphere. the american "ball" is near enough an egg shape. it's not a question of sport, it's a question of shape :p
