There was a book written based on this game. Not bad. It actually deviated from the game in a way that was much more plausable and based on real historical data. Such as weapons and things like that.

@DEPTrooper It was called the same name as the game. It was a paper back. There are books based on just about all the most popular games. Halo, Doom, Starcraft...the list goes on. God, I haven't read that for ten years, I bet. The Doom books were kinda lame, but think about the premise of the original, and you'll see.

This is one of my all time faves. There are hundreds of games with much better graphics, but you know what? It does not matter. I love the vibe this one has. It has great ambiance and creates a mood that lends itself to the gameplay. Graphics are only to sweeten an already good game, not create the game itself. There are many stunning games to look at that suck.
