Actually I have used LED for my small tree, once I added it, the growth tripled at least, and in 4 months it was huge!!! From 8 leaves to 76 leaves!

led r the best i used them for over 9 months now i have plants well over 7ft tall all u gotta do is add low wattage blue spectrum cfl like 45 w or so this is so the plants can see the light better. and for flower u will tripple yeild if u add a 250 w hps. i have 2 90w ufo and one 45 w blue spectrum cfl and on 70whps my room is 24'x24' i yeild close to 5 oz per plant around 50lbs every 2 weeks on a rotating harvest with buds as hard as rock alot of my people think i was growing outside
