i really feel like i'm walking through a chinese village where everyone is wearing traditional chinese clothes. its summer time and i can smell the sunshine.
I find it really hard to place this song in any category. Kinda Asian, but not really. Kinda classical, but not really. Kinda gentle, but not really. Kinda slow, but not really. The only category I can safely put it into: Too short. Anything that awesome should not end after 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

thanks for the offer but somebody emailed the sunflower piece to me already..by keemzoh.
yes you're correct, the piece was quite easy. its just like the same difficulty level as fur elise by beethoven. in one week or less, i will be able to perfect it. i have to play it lightly though-for the fast parts.
again, thanks. i would like to have the piece la campanella by franz liszt. do you happen to have one? :-D
Don't just put negative mark on my comment! get his actual chopin album, stick it on ur computer, and it will allow you to print sheets music off! DICK HEAD!
Well at first glance, if you look at the sheet, it doesn't look too bad. But as you start to play it, you realize that unless you have the fluidity and speed and dexterity of the pros, it just doesn't sound right. The hard part is not learning the notes. The hard part is making it sound good.
@andrew33323 So true....the song needs that delicate, bouncy, quickness to make it not sound like a "dead" sunflower. But all the speed and dexterity problems can be solved if you practice alot. After, Yundi Li may be a prodigy, but he is still a human, and if you practice enough, you can get close to his level, can't you?
Wow, fascinating - you can hear how he's matured when you compare this recording with the way he played the same piece at the Chopin competition in 2000. Stop thinking about grades. Just because it's a hard grade doesn't mean you can't learn it. You either can, or you can't. But, I don't know. I just had to say that because Asian music students always ask "what grade what grade?"

iceartic25 2 years ago 4
nope, he just makes it look that way :)
It's not in a Western scale (i.e. not major or minor). Makes it difficult unless you're familiar with the key it's in.
coffemuse 2 years ago 3
i see cause i dont know why , this tune somehow repeats itself many times in my head when i doing things. =)
iceartic25 2 years ago 3
it's sort of pentatonic that gives it the "Chinese" feel, but not totally, so it seems a bit normal.... don't think that makes it difficult though
vincentws03 2 years ago
@coffemuse I think the harder part is just how fast and precise the piece has to be.
Wasabi144 1 year ago
it's not so hard. I think that all is difficult since you have to work to master a piece.
It's not as hard as a Beethoven Piano sonata, but i'ts harder that For Elisa, for example.
