  • La grabación está hecha en N.YORK el 5 de abril de 1930 . El pianista es BUCK WASHINGTON (tengo el disco )

  • I first heard this song in the movie benjermin button. I love it I'm so glad I found it on the soundtrack.

  • dude thank you for posting this, does anyone know where i might be able to download it? im going crazy to get my hands on it

  • This is superb. Thankyou, edmundusrex.

    Louis is amazing.

The fine piano player, Buck Washington, was part of a comedy-duo, "Buck and Bubbles", they also sang and danced, appeared in films, & were very well-known.

  • One of my all time favorite Jazz standards, I would love to recreate this on guitar with a light dreamy distortion. I was reminded of it from The benjamin Button Movie, the second phrase like 12 bars in is the one that gets me every time. Loony Tunes & Tom & Jerry Cartoons used it alot, I think thats where it grabbed me in my childhood...

  • Beautiful

  • Not the time, or place for politics.

  • First note won me

Louis he could play a trumpet...

    Wonderful sound

  • The trumpet. I've never loved a musical instrument more. And it's because of Louis. And I always know when he's playing it. He has this very recognizable way.

  • For sure.

    Louis was a goddamn genius.

Him, Charlie Parker, and John Coltrane played from their soul. Originals.

  • goodnight mr armstrong!!!

  • I've loved this record all my life - Louis Armstrong is at his best - but credit is also due to the fine and sensitive piano accompaniment by Floyd Buck Washington. I see this recording is on the soundtrack of the new movie "Benjamin Button" !

  • I really enjoyed Louis on this version.I have it posted by Red Nichols and his 5 pennies on DailyMotion.

  • In the Jazz history he is, in my opinion one of the 4 genious. Louis, Duke, Django and Parker. Hein

  • I couldn't agree more-people tend to underestimate the brilliance of Django.

Perhaps we could fit Art Tatum in there somewhere..

  • Django and Art were definitely in the same league as well.
