  • that is am-az-ing! deep.

  • I love it when you are travelling and fall across something none of the tourist info lists. What happened here was that the guy in the video runs a local tourist shop, and he shows people about in order to lure them back to his sales counter.

    Glad you liked it!

  • From what I am given to understand, the mathematical dimensions of Doric Column from the Golden Age period had almost no known precedent, and seemed to come from Phidias (Pheidias) himself when he constructed the Parthenon. However the Temple at Karnac was probably his inspiration as it uses a similar optical trick to make the columns look taller. I would imagine it is a given that much of ancient architecture was greatly influenced by Egyptian design.

  • did you know, much of Greek Architecture have their precedence in Kemet(Ancient Egypt)?

  • To hear it turn the volume to full and use head phones when the man is striking the pillars. How do these pliiars heal? I mean in what sequence must they be struck and for how long for healing to take place?

  • Just saw this. I suspect different dates would require different sequences of notes. I tried to find more info, but accurate historic records in that part of the world are either not extant or in an untranslated language.

  • This is a very exciting architecture. Thank you so much. When we visited this place, we did not notice this, nor did our guide mention this. do you have more of such architectures of India?

  • It is the only place of this type that I know of. I believe some of the Temples of Healing in Ancient Greece (Asclepeads) had similar arrangements.

  • There is a temple at Hampi - Karanataka State, India, There are musical pillars there. That temple is more famous because each pillar is tuned to resonate at the eight notes of Indian classical music.

  • Really couldn't hear anything

  • Try a hearing aid
