OK JUDGES!! Here's the deal!! I am going to personally prowl thu EVERY SINGLE audition looking for YOUR comments! If you have not commented on EVERY audition by the time we start Round 1.. I'm dropping you as a judge this season. You knew the requirements early on.. You are making the choice of not judging if you do not do what is expected of you this season.

@davidproper Becasue there was a long discussion in the FaceBook group of how the contestants WANTED to hear from the judges and were frustrated because they didn't ever hear from ANY of them the entire season.. each and EVERY season. If a judge is holding the contestants fate in their hands, the least they can do is say HEY i watched your video and give them some feedback so they know what they are doing right/wrong.

@davidproper sometimes when i get judge votes back i scratch my head and wonder if they even watched the freakin videos cuz their votes are so NUTZ!! And another peeve I've got about SOME judges is they seem to vote with VENGANCE for whatever reason and not on talent.. Thats BS!! I'm starting to take a HARD LOOK at the judges and want them to take this seriously. If we want the contestants to take this seriously then the judges need to also. OBVIOUSLY i'm not talking about ALL the judges

And where is this 'glory"? I haven't seen any. I vote on overall performance. Song, vocals, lighting, performance, video presentation, etc. You disagree with my votes because I don't play favs. If they sucked they sucked.

If you don't feel comfortable critiquing the singing then you can say "good lighting," or "it's too dark," or "good song choice." Your opinion is as valid as anyone's. Even people who have singing knowledge may completely give opposite advice.

Judges! I am watching to see who is leaving feedback for the contestants and who isn't. To be a judge this season you are REQUIRED to leave a comment on EVERY entry! If you are judging them and your vote counts on whether they get thru to the next round or not.. then they have a right to know you exist and have watched their video. A comment on their entries is the least you can do as judges. My lecture for the day is done. :-))
