Er. actually the people lighting the fireworks weren't Chinese! And yes it was a professional company (I work for them) Hand lighting is quite common for smaller displays (and far more fun!)

Hi glazarouc. I`d be very interested to know when all this stuff happens. Each year, in London, yes ? But is it a 1 day event ? Does it happen every day for 2 weeks ? or what ?

I`ve been to Las Fallas de Valencia. Their "Mascleta" takes place every day for c.2wks.each year. You`ll probably have been there already, but if not, see "Ultima Mascleta" ( icon 2 down ).

Ps. If I can see things as great as those thing as I`ve seen / HEARD in Spain, I won`t have to fly again ( I hate flying ! )

well it happens once a year in february and it lasts for up to 2-3 weeks and everyday they have a different party
