One day, I found Big-Head dead inside his house with all his clothes stolen. His house key was still on him so I took that and dragged his body to the foyer and put up a little shrine for him.

 Normally, with me having no morals, I would loot a dead guy's house and sell the stuff, but Big-Head was just so awesome so I kept everything in his house just as he had left them and lived in it.

@foojuice101 as soon as i entered crucible i went to the house of the chef guy snd stole his pewter fork, that makes big-head pretty alive and well( he will not try to steal the pewter fork the chef guy has), also got rid of the thief guy (he is a bad thief anyway, and his quest doesn't give anything interesting, just 450 gold, bah, i have more than 100000 gold, why should i need more?, i get more money selling the flawless pearls he wants)

You can have the thief guy arrested instead of getting the pearls. If you're a Mad God, you can ask that Redguard steward dude to throw him in jail

@foojuice101 nah, i feel like is more rewarding to kill the dude, i only got a 5g fine for trespassing, it avoids big-head being killed by the thief, also the 450g is at level 32, think it's lower at lower levels, and i feel like avenging the poor guy of the note i found on one of the rooftops (thief guy stole his house, that in my book means death by daedric lord), and no matter how fast you complete the mad god quest, big-head may be killed in the process if the thief goes in his house

Lol, I found the Fork of Horripilation on the way to the city while coming from the gate of Mania. So I the minute I started the quest, I talked to him again and he had his fork, and he didn't get in a fight and die. :)

there they were all going back through the door I just went through, to go back to Bliss. I was still confused/amused so I just went back through the same door. I'm wondering if the Saints were going after Big-Head, cuz I think I remember him and the Rendil dude being the civilians running through the door ahead of the Saints. Either way, I already broke the quest by killing the beggar you're supposed to talk to at the first of the mission, lol

I had already accepted his quest. But I may be wrong, but last night I saw a bunch of Golden Saints and civilians running after somebody. It was weird though cuz there was one Dark Seducer amongst them that ended up fighting with and getting killed by a Golden Saint, while the rest of the Golden Saints and civilians ran through a door into the Palace Grounds/Garden area. Being like "wtf" I watched the two fight, then went through the door to where everybody else went to find that right as I got

you can save big head by pickpocketing the guy named Rendil. Rendil is the guy who always says that he has something cooking at home. he has a fork on him, and if you take it big head wont attack him. thats why big head is always sneaking around, he is hunting for forks. im serious, thats what hes doing. which really isnt a suprise. big head is also the most awsome character in all of cyrodill and the shivering isles! big head for the win!

I found the fork on one of my games, went into bliss for the first time, and he was in a fight with *everyone*, i used `resurrect on big head, but everyone attacked him again, good news is, before you get the quest, if you have the fork, you can drop it

Big Head gave me his quest but died in a fight (involving three other people, who also died) before I could complete it. One thing that really annoys me about the Shivering Isles is that in my game the people in New Sheoth are constantly getting into fights and killing each other. You can go back to a previous saved game to prevent it. But it's really annoying when you've just accomplished X or Y activity and have to go back to do it all over again to keep people from dying.

Yeah, I went to seek him out for his fork quest. He ducked into some house (not his) and the Golden Saints followed him and killed him before I could ask about the stupid fork. Now that I see this, the reward is lame and my guy is jacked anyway.

The guards kill him when he pickpockets the Dunmer chef in Bliss. IF you want to avoid it, Pickpocket him yourself, and take out the Fork in his inventory. He won't pickpocket him anymore.

Yeah, you can swipe it from his body when he dies. Since he's dead, it's not his property anymore and doesn't count as a stolen item.

if you go to new sheogorath cemetery about three days after big head dies, he has a tombstone there that reads " HERE LIES BIG HEAD, COMPLETLY FORKED"

You CAN fight with the fork. I use it a LOT! I love the fork of horripilation, both in Oblivion and Morrowind. But I must say that simply FINDING the fork is a lot easier than trying to kill a netch with it.
