  • Not really an assumption. Obama got 95% of the black vote.

Good for you though for voting the issues.

  • @samwilson3d What percentage of the Black vote do Democratic presidential candidates usually get? I suspect it is close to 95 percent. Thanks for commenting.

  • "um, i am black". lol. you can say that again. lol

  • People who say blacks voted for Obama because he's black are right. Look at the history of their voting: John Kerry, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Lydon B Johnson, JFK, and FDR in mass.

And what do all of them have in common?

    They are all BLACK.

  • white people arent saying that all black people have this idea to vote for obama because he is black, but it is a lie if u say tht every single black person is jst voting for him because of his politics.

but as you said i am sure it is the same for white people voting for someone who is white, but obama is half white, but most people just see him as black. which there is nothing wrong with tht, but why does n e 1 have to look at it as being white or black it should have to deal with politics

  • I think that some Whites made way too much of Obama's race in terms of why Blacks overwhelmingly voted for him and way too little of the fact that the majority of Blacks have been voting for Democrats regardless of their race for a very long time. I also do not understand why some folks insist that if Obama had been Republican the same number of Blacks would have voted for him when the vast number of Blacks see Republicans as their enemies or people who do not care about them. Crazy talk.

  • because black people generally vote 85 to 90% for a Democrat every time. It's not about race so much, it's about which party has done the most to support education, health care, civil rights, equality in housing and employment. If the Republicans had done more in those areas, they would vote for a Republican.

  • well i respect your opinion, but what about all the blacks who went out and registered to vote just because a black man was running, 95% of blacks voted for obama, and i know not all but the biggest percentage supported him because of his skin color, please explain to me how that is not racist, i'm white and i voted for obama, wasn't i supposed to vote for hillary or mccain because they're white too, don't think so, i listened to obama's views and morals, what he was going to do, not his race

  • Although I have said this before I will say it again because maybe you did not see me say it before. Most Blacks are Democrats. Obama is a Democrat. Whether Black or White or whatever most Blacks would have voted for him. However,if he was a Republican it is very doubtful most would have done so. They would have voted for a Democrat even if he or she was White or some other race. Okay? Take care.

  • How many Blacks was that and was it greater than the number of Blacks who have registered to vote in previous elections? I still hold that if Obama had not been a Democrat most Blacks would not have voted for him. However,if you insist on painting Blacks as being as race obsessed that is your business. I cannot do a thing about that. Take care.

  • bottom-line: most blacks voted for obama, because he's black and we all know it. they wanted to see him as president. i'm black and i refused to vote for a media creation. obama's campaign speeches didn't fool me in the least and his ideas were so far from my ideas it would've been a waste of a vote if i pulled the lever for democrat. damn near 95% of blacks didn't even do there research on obama. all they did was walk around repeating "hope and change" like mindless glass-eyed zombies.

  • Show your face and prove you are Black and that would give you a little credibility though I would still disagree with your assessment of why most Blacks voted for Obama. They voted for him because he is a Democrat and most Blacks are Democrats. Simple as that. This would be abundantly clear to you and others if Obama had ran as a Republican and failed to capture the Black vote as I am sure he would have failed. Bottom line: You and people like you are clueless about this,no matter your color.

  • I would like to add that I think the vast majority of Blacks and half of Whites, apparently, listened to his speeches and liked what he had to say. They felt he had the right approach to fixing our economy and agreed with him on the things he addressed. They might not have agreed with him about abortion and other issues but their main concern was economic issues and Obama seemed infinitely more on point about how to fix the economy than the clueless McCain. That is why Obama got elected. Period.

  • why should i have to show my face to prove what i am? just because you dranked the obama kool-aid without any sugar, doesn't mean i have to drink it too.

there're so many clips on this site of blacks being asked why they voted for obama and those clueless dummies all said "change" "hope". even the guilt-ridden white liberals voted for him. it's embarrassing. obama was in the company of militant america haters, racist pastors and scandal ridden real estate land dealers.

  • It would help to establish your Black identity. There are plenty of Whites who would pretend to be Black in order to make it look like even Blacks have a problem with each other or to lend validity to their racist point of views. I drank no Obama koolaid. I did my research. I knew exactly who I was voting for and voted for him anyway. Why? I do believe he will fix our economy. I do believe he will indeed change the way things are done in America. In some ways good, and others bad. As usual.

  • You claim you're black. If you are, you would know most blacks vote Democrat.

  • Exactly. I am inclined to think that bkconservativ was not for real. If you will notice a lot of folks on this site will not show their faces and that alone is cause to be suspicious of them especially if they say things that sound weird like bkconservativ did. Take care and God bless.

  • I have to say, When I went to the Parade when the phillies won the world series, there was a black man screaming "Obama", and I thought, you're rents still gonna be due, taxes aren't dropping, and you're still gonna lose your job. Also, look around on youtube, theres a thing on the radio, putting McCains Ideas on Obama, and blacks saying they like Obama for that, that just proves it, Don't it? Ex.

Reporter: So you like Obama because he's Pro-life?

Black Man: Yeah, pro-life is good!

  • That Black man like most Blacks think Democrats like Obama are more on their side than Republicans like McCain. That is why so many Blacks voted for Obama, simple as that. I will have to look into the putting McCain's idea on Obama thing. Sounds kind of bogus to me though. Even if true,I am pretty sure there are Whites that are just as uninformed as the Black man you speak of was and that Black man or other Blacks you speak of do not represent all of us. Most likely not even most.

  • Just think of it. It is a pretty simple thing to go out and interview or talk to a bunch of Black folks and then choose to include the most ignorant and uninformed of the batch in a video designed to smear or disparage Blacks. Like I said,I am very suspicious of any videos or what not whose purpose seem to be to make Blacks look bad. So should you be as well. Racists have been pulling that kind of mess or trickery for years and years and years.

  • Also,I do not think most Blacks are worried about making their rent or what not. They have jobs. I also do not think most are worrying about losing their jobs. I most certainly am not. and I am sure I a not atypical. I do not think taxes are of grave concern to most either. After all, Blacks are quite used to making due or getting by on less. They have been doing it for centuries and are experts. That is why they do not go jumping out of windows if they lose their money like some folks do.

  • When I hear BLACKS spouting off about "How they're never going to have to work again because Obama is president", or "Ill have my rent paid now because Obama is president", I have to question their mental ability. Im not being racist. Im pointing out STUPIDITY. Singling out WHITE people as the people who you say "voted against Obama due to skin color", is just as racist as what you are speaking against. I voted Obama for ISSUES. Ignorance comes in ALL colors. Learn that.

  • I do not believe you when you say Blacks are talking about never working again under Obama because I have never heard Blacks say that. Most Blacks pay their own rent so they are not looking for anyone to pay it for them. You sound like a racist.

  • It is not racist for me to say SOME Whites voted against Obama because he is Black. Only the most racially ignorant person would dispute that. Learn to pay attention to what somebody says and then you won't mis characterize what they have said.

  • like random said, every color is capable of being racist, and you are being racist insinuating every white person is against you. You have stereotyped white people and thats offensive. IE Black people calling white people "crackers" is called racism. Blacks are just making an excuse just to play the race card and Obama took advantage of it. Obama isnt God, hes just another HALF WHITE man trying to fix the country and sucking at it.

  • I must say that your name alone is disturbing and cause enough to make me at least a little leery of you considering I am a man of Christian beliefs. Anyway,I never insinuated that every White person is against me. I could not get along with Whites as well as I do if that was the case. You are seeing things. How did I stereotype Whites? I never meant to refer to all Whites in anything I said and any reasonable person can see that.

  • Any reasonable person can see that I was only speaking to a certain percentage of Whites who were insisting that Blacks were only voting for Obama because he is "Black". I even used the phrase "certain percentage of Whites" in my video. You need to learn to pay attention and not be so biased.Your racial bias is show by you saying Blacks instead of some or most or many Blacks are making an excuse. And why is he a "Half White" man as opposed to a Half Black one? You got racial issues yourself.

  • However, you are right about at least one thing. Obama has not done a particulary good job of fixing the country. Nevertheless,he is not alone in that responsibility and he has not had a lot of time. He has been in office less than one year and is trying to undo eight years' worth of ruination by Republicans like Bush. You need to cut him some slack.

  • What I meant about being half white, hes just another human being. Color doesnt matter, its his views that the uneducated had failed to research. Most blacks in Chicago voted for Obama cause he's black and were very outspoken about it. But you have to admit, Obama did play the race card to its extent, otherwise, if he was white, McCain would have won. who knows. Im not racist, I just call it as i see it. I hate the liberal view and thats what I'm attacking.

  • You may think they just voted for him because he was Black but believe me this. If they had not liked what he had to say during his speeches they most likely would not have voted for him. Obama is very charismatic and a good speaker and I think that played a big factor in Obama being able to convince people of all races to vote for him. I think the main reason McCain lost is that he had nothing new to say or was not appealing. He was just more of the same and people saw that quite clearly.

  • "Most blacks in Chicago voted for Obama cause he's black ".... i thought it was because he's a homeboy

  • I've encountered many blacks praising Obama just because hes black and dont even care what credentials he carries or what views he has expressed. I understand what you're saying, Its just irritating that most blacks are praising him just because he's black. I'll cast my criticism after his term, but theyre some good things hes done, like say, american recovery and reinvestment act.

  • Have you asked these same Blacks what his credentials are or how Obama feels about certain issues or have you just assumed they did not know or care? Are you sure that none of these Blacks you speak of bothered to listen to his campaign speeches? I would be willing to go along with the fact that most Blacks voted for him largely because he is a Democrat though. Blacks had a choice between a Democrat and a Republican and most of them being Democrats they voted for Obama. Simple as that.

  • Yes, but the fact of the matter is that his skin color had enough sway to encourage most blacks to vote. And i didnt have to ask. they've blatantly announced they were going to vote for him just for the skin color, claiming we had too many "white presidents" lol. I have nothing against Obama, besides doing a shitty job so far, I'm just repulsed in the way of how the media is handling it. making it seem like hes the best president we've ever had. especially so early in his term.

  • I hear you. I am sure that the vast majority of Blacks are glad to have him as president just because he is considered to be Black in spite of his mixed heritage. However, the mistake that some Whites make is thinking they would have voted for Obama no matter what he did or said or no matter what party he belonged to. To me,that is hogwash and a matter of them not giving Blacks enough credit in terms of their intelligence. Also, they are seriously ignoring how fiercely Democrat Blacks are.

  • What people like yourself, regardless of race, need to ask Blacks that say they voted for Obama based on his race, is whether they would have voted for him if he had been a Republican. Whether they would have voted for him if it had come out that he has been hard on the poor and the middle class. Whether they would have voted for him if he had a history of coddling the rich. I guarantee they would emphatically say no, thinking that he is a traitor to his people and against minorities.

  • "THEY'VE" blantantly announced voting for him". Great job lumping black people all together by calling all of them "THEY". I think all white people "THEY" vote for Mcain because he's white. How does that feel, almost sounds racist doesn't it.

  • Your name is disturbing to me because it makes me wonder if you have six legs and an exoskeleton.

  • So,you are wondering if I am a shapeshifter then? ;-P

  • So, just because YOU didnt hear it, it doesnt exist? Well, THAT isnt racist. Thats ignorant. You saying I SOUND racist, is indeed STEREOTYPICAL RACIST. I voted for Obama. Due to his platform. Not race. YOU learn to pay attention, and look outside the box. Black racism is JUST as alive as white racism.

  • I do not know if any Blacks said that or not but in my experience I did not hear any say such things. So,I am skeptical concerning your allegation. However,if any did say that it in no way reflects upon the vast majority of Blacks,in my opinion. I think most Blacks voted for Obama for the same reason they usually vote for Democrats. They think Dems are on their side. I agree that Black racism as well as White racism are problems in America. To say otherwise, would be to deny reality.

  • black conservative tends to be a little bit smarter the white conservative because they going aqainst there home boys

  • When a person is conservative, liberal, etc. there is no telling why they are what they are. One should not assume it has anything to do with intelligence but should simply ask each individual why they are what they are. If they can give you an intelligent answer, one along the lines of saying that their stance is consistent with their views on important issues, obviously they are not stupid. If they say something like my family always votes that way, their intelligence is indeed questionable.

  • Well if you have some information then you need to share it , see black people tend not to share info .

and white people dont do reseach either but dont you look dumb now because the whites came out in record numbers .

  • I do not know. Someone told me CNN did exit polls of Blacks asking why they voted for Obama and the Blacks answered. I think people of all races came out in record numbers but of course they kind of focused on how many Blacks voted this time because they had never voted in such numbers before,I believe. There were also record numbers of young people who voted.

  • Of course there were RECORD numbers, because the population increases heavily over four years.

I BET 2012 will be another record breaker, and 2016, because the population for the world increases!

I and barely know ANY young voters who are interested.

  • I think there was more to it than that. I think the percentage of the population that voted was higher this year than other years. For instance, maybe 40 percent of the voting population voted last time but 60 percent voted this time. Get it? We are not talking about sheer numbers but percentages. Take care.

  • BUT, in the 60's, they had a 65-70 percent turnout, I just learned it in government. So, the media is actually WRONG when they say record turnout.

  • I said maybe because I was not sure what the voter turnout was this year. After reading some more, I do believe you are correct. I guess the only thing that might make people vote more is threatening them with death or something. :-/

  • Honestly alot of voter are idiots and will vote for someone for the stupidest reasons. 10% acctually know the real issues.

  • You got that right.

  • So many blacks voted for obama because he's the only good choice...

  • He's actually biracial.

And yes, even if Obama was a Republican, he would have still won 97 percent of the black voters.

  • So,we are just incapable of voting based on issues and were totally hung up on race,eh? I find that statement not only insulting but racist. Sorry if that offends you but I am offended by such a blatant untruth. The majority of Blacks are well known to be Democrats so there is no way so many would have voted for Obama if he was a Republican. That is just completely wrong. :-(

  • The simple fact is that although a lot or most Blacks were pleased that a non-White candidate ran for president there is no way most would have voted for him if they did not like what he had to say or did not agree with him and considering that most are Democrats it is doubtful they would have agreed with Obama if he was a Republican. After all, Republicans are definitely different from Democrats in terms of their ideas and stances and Blacks are not too stupid or ignorant to see that. :-/

  • The majority of Blacks voted for Clinton because they perceived that he was on their side and represented their best interests. They could not have cared less about his race. That is the same reason they voted for Obama. It was not merely because he is a man of color and to say or imply otherwise insults our intelligence and sounds racist to me. Whatever negative image you have of Blacks as being so hung up on race they would have voted for Obama no matter what you need to get rid of. Seriously.

  • Dude, they ADMIT it. Every black person at my school said that they wanted him to win, because he was black.

Then I mentioned Condelizza Rice, and they said they would like her too, and she is a Republican.

I'm not saying that EVERY black person voted for Obama for that reason, but I think there were a LOT that did.

  • Even if what you say is true that does not mean they would have voted for Obama or Condoleeza if they did not agree with either about issues important to them. Nevertheless,it is very difficult for me to believe every single Black person at your school said that. In my experience finding any group of people in which everyone is saying the same exact thing is rare. Feel me? Me personally,I have not run across a single Black person who told me they voted for Obama just because he was Black.

  • As a matter of fact,in the conversations I have had with Blacks, they have talked about him doing good by them or doing things that would be of benefit to them, unlike Bush and crew have. They have expressed disgust concerning Republicans who only care about the rich and could not care less about the poor and middle class.I have heard Blacks be pleased with the fact that he is of color but not offer that as their sole reason for voting for Obama.

  • Obama's father was a Kenyan and it is possible that some of his ancestors sold sold some of my ancestors into slavery. However,I do not know that for a fact. Regardless,it is unimportant. What matters is what Obama himself has done, not his ancestors. God bless.

  • There can be no ignoring that Obama is the first person of color to occupy the presidency of the U.S. It indicates that this country is well on its way to being a country in which anybody can do or be anything if they put their mind to it. Up till now the idea of a person of color being president was a pipe dream. This represents signicant racial progress in America and it is not wrong to recognize that fact. God bless.

  • Obama received 95% of the Black vote and Black republicans are about 10% of the Black vote...Therefore about 50% of Black republicans voted for Obama...Any Black republicans here vote for Obama...???

  • Good question. There can be no doubt that some Republicans of all races voted for Obama. Heck,my union was contacted by Republicans for Obama during its campaign to get Obama elected. Take care.

  • ::shakes head slowly::

Why does anyone, especially black people, believe "Christianity".. ::sighs::

Separation of church and state. Even if it's a Christian in office, what does it matter?? They still have to explain it in secular terms, it is not legal to enact laws based on religious dogma.

  • I am a Christian but I did not vote for Obama for religious reasons. I voted for him because of secular ones, namely that I believe he will do more to help the poor and the middle class than someone like McCain. A person who I believe is mostly dedicated to helping the rich. I hope I was right. God bless.

  • white people think that because there are SO many black people are voting for Obama BECAUSE he black. ask them why they are voting for Obama and they have no good reasons, they get defensive, they know nothing about the issues. they are voting for Obama because HE IS black. a good amount of them will even admit it!

  • Actually, they really voted for Obama because he is a Democrat like most Black Americans are. If Obama had been anything other than a Democrat it is highly doubtful they would have voted for him in such high numbers. Anyone that thinks otherwise does not know Black people very well. Take care.

  • i understand y so many blacks vote 4 obama (cuz hes black) but in times like these this shouldnt be happening. like over 10% of voters like obama cuz of his color, but other ppl forget tht the republicans freed them from slavery and gave them rites. But i do understand y a lot of blacks vote 4 obama cuz of his color

  • That is not correct. Many Blacks have downed Colin Powell just because he is a Republican. Most Blacks cannot stand Republicans and if Obama had been a Republican they would not have cared that he was Black. They would have voted against him for sure. If Colin ever runs for president he had better do it as a Democrat or he will not get the Black vote. Most Blacks are Democrats. Period. Take care.

  • What do you think about the breaking news on Michelle Obama's comments to the African Press International (API)?

And good for you brother Christian!!

  • I have been offline for quite a well and consequently have gotten out of the loop as far as the news goes since the internet is my main source for news. What did she say?

  • YawBStoopit01....If you refer to Alan Keyes, I must say that out of all of the candidates that have run for the office of president, he is the one that can intelligently convey his ideas. Not to mention the fact that they make sense...good call

  • Actually, I am pretty sure that the reason 42 percent of Whites,66 percent of Hispanics, and 95 percent of Blacks voted for Obama had at least something to do with his brilliant and eloquent speeches in which he displayed a great deal of intelligence and knowledge. Also, his calm demeanor no matter what nasty things were said about him was impressive. Just saying. Take care.

  • I voted for OBAMA because he is a democrat. Some people are so racist. If OBAMA was republican I would not vote for him. I do not like republican policy. Republicans hurt the poor and middle class. Most blacks are poor or middle class, so Republicans hurt most blacks.Black republican are sell outs. Just like the Africans who sold slaves to the white man. By not supporting black education Republicans are keeping blacks poor.

  • EXACTLY!!! Race is not a part of this... I'm white and I approve this message... zheka1989for McCain 2008...

  • Black people like to say they aren't supporting him because he's black...HA...what a lie. Here is a quote from a black magazine Ebony/Jet on their website.

"Why Barack Obama Must Be Our Next President

Even though EBONY magazine has not formally endorsed a candidate in its 64 years, we are taking this opportunity to wholeheartedly and unequivocally endorse Sen. Barack Obama as the next president of the United States. "

Yeahhhh right. THEN WHY IN 64 YRS. haven't they endorsed anyone?

  • @Arrethusa Believe it or not,Ebony/Jet does not represent all Black people. However, point made concerning why Ebony/Jet endorsed Barack Obama.

  • As a white Christian male I found your comments refreshing. You made me rethink some of my own views, opinions, and assumptions.

Why is it blacks generally feel Democrats care about them more than Republicans? Is it more of a belief passed down (stereotype) or is this assertion supported by fact? I am not aware of any bills/laws passed that support this claim. I dont mean this negatively. Maybe I am just ignorant in this area and need to get the facts. I guess I need to do more homework.

  • After eight years of mostly Republican rule under which things have gotten worse for the poor and the middle class I am simply shocked that anyone would not see why Blacks think Democrats are better when it comes to looking out for the less fortunate. Like Barack Obama has said, too many Republicans are committed to trickle down economics but no matter how Republcians coddle big business they never really pass the love down to the common folks. They just hoard the wealth. Take care.

  • Those rich Republicans earned that money by getting off their asses and working for it.

  • @ConZash10 So did rich Democrats or any kind of rich folks. Your point?

  • What black people fail to realize is, that before, blacks primarily voted Republican! All of that changed when Kennedy was in office because the economy was bad and he brought up the NEW DEAL CLAUSE... Under the Bush Administration, more black people have started their own businesses than any other president, black colleges have gotten the most out the the Bush Admin., all Barak wants to do is stimulate the LAZY and support LAZINESS. Christians should rethink voting for Obama... do your RESEARCH!

  • The economy is bad now for many folks so it is not surprising that they went for a Democrat since Democrats are well thought to help the poor and middle class while Republicans are perceived as only being out to help the wealthy whether through corporate welfare like bailouts or tax breaks for companies that make a killing sending jobs overseas. I would rather see the poor and middle class get handouts or financial help over the rich anyday.Take care.

  • You have a good point...

  • Since it is very clear that Obama is the best candidate a better question is ...Why don't more white people vote for vote for Obama...?? Especially middle class working whites...???

  • That is a good question that I think it would be best to let them answer if they can or are willing to do so.I say that because there not wanting to vote for him does not make sense and if that is racially based they are not likely to want to answer.:-/

  • So do you think it's right to take away from people who are working hard to distribute it to those that don't deserve it?

  • @Mahal2006 Do you think it is right to tax hardworking middle class and poor people more than the so called hard working rich? We both know that the rich get tax breaks and subsidies and bail outs and such that the poor and middle class only wish they could get.

  • @WebAnt I'm black middle class. I mind my own business; I don't go around asking the "hard working rich" how they got their money or convince myself I deserve more since I make less. You get what you put in it. The problem with our country is that we always look on the other side of the fence more than we look on our side to figure out how we can improve ourselves. I assume just that; they worked hard that's why they're rich. Doesn't matter what social class, their will always be bad ones.

  • good point :) nice video.. thanks

  • Thanks and you are welcome. However, the real reason so many Blacks are voting for Obama is that he is a Democrat and most Blacks are Democrats. Most Blacks think Democrats care about them more than Republicans. If he was a Republican,it is doubtful that most would vote for him. So,those who say that Blacks are only voting for him because he is Black are dead wrong. They would vote for him no matter what his race was. Blacks are not the ones hung up on race here. Take care.

  • If you vote for Obama just because he's black, you are gay and stupid. Oh and if you are gonna call me a racist, just to let you all know, I have black friends. How is race a qualifying factor in being president. Race has absolutely nothing at all to do with running a country.

  • @michaeljackson200 How in the world could someone voting for Barack Obama possibly mean that someone is gay? Even if Barack Obama was gay that would not automatically make all who voted for him gay. You got to admit, that was pretty stupid what you said. Take care.

  • Hes Black i didnt no that. Thanks for letting me no

  • slightly retarded......

  • Only a retarded person would think that. Believe me. Bye.

  • this is a smart guy...he can think for himself.

most people need the media to tell them how to think. keep it up man.

  • Thanks. I will. :-)

  • I think you are right on all counts, but, no one is perfect, civie or military, they are all humans. Government was Taxpayer's money??? Nah! Say it ain't so, dawg! HAHA! I thought THAT was the role of government! And yes, there will be profiteering from war, that has been a given from the first stick and stone thrashing given to Og by Ug! So, while I agree with your assessment, I don't see anything unsual. Nothing that Obama or anyone else can "fix". It is what it is, G!

  • I hear you.Thanks for the input. Have a great evening,G.:-)

  • I am not voting for Obama because I cannot find any substance in what he says. I know lots of friends and family members who are also not supporting Obama despite his "blackness". Are we people of substance or are we so superfluous that we would vote on the basis of skin color only?

  • I was voting for McCain until I realized that in all likelihood that man has no respect for Black people whatsoever. Case in point, him claiming that he voted against MLK's birthday becoming a national holiday because he did not know who he was at the time. That is a double insult to Black America. One,that he would not have known who MLK was. Two,that he thought Blacks were stupid enough to believe that. Also,he is racist against Asians. He used the word "gook" up until recently.

  • But enough about McCain. Why do you think Obama is saying nothing of substance?I am curious.

  • I know-I wish Keyes, or Steele or Rice were in the race somehow. On Obama, I have yet to hear a cohesive plan on anything. His voting record belies his inability to be decisive. I am afraid he would follow the Carter path if we had a serious terrorist incident and try to talk his way through, maybe giving them too much in the process. He truly lacks experience as a statesman and that is dangerous when dealing with the world's despots, tryannts and dictators! Also, what has he said about Darfur??

  • There is a video on YouTube in which his advisor or something is talking about progress they have made in talking to the Iranian leader. He is making it clear that he believes dialog with even America's worst enemies is better than just going to war with people. I am confident that Barack Obama will not get America into unnecessary wars and will exhaust all other possibilities before waging war. McCain,on the other hand, scares the crap out of me. He is a hawk and his war on the brain.

  • Yo, but see that is what I am talking about. Obama is a lot like Carter as far as experience and military background. Had Carter jacked up Iran back in the day, 1979, none of this Iranian stuff (and poss not even Iraq) would even be up for dialog today. Ya feel me? Sometimes ya gotta make war. And since we all volunteer, then ya know the folks that's in know they might have to get a little drama. Hell, when I heard Black Water was paying $86K and up for security detail, I just about signed up!

  • Who knows how a war with Iran might have gone down back then. Might have ended up stuck there for a very very long time. However,in the video the representative of Barack made it very clear that it is doubtful that Iran will pursue nuclear weapons. Iran is being more reasonable and it appears that things could be worked out if a hawk was not elected president. What is needed is diplomacy with Iran and I am not sure McCain is diplomatic enough. I think he is too much of a hawk.

  • They have determined that some private contractors in Iraq did not do a good job. All the money the government paid and some things were just not done right. Also, some of the jobs private contractors did could have been done by our military probably better. So,the govt has literally wasted taxpayer's money. There have been allegations of war profiteering and I do believe at least part of the reason McCain is insisting on an open ended commitment is profiting American companies.

  • EVERYONE,

PLEASE WATCH WebAnt's, Contemplating Suicide? video.

    -Tracy S. Thompson

  • Hey WED ant you are a HOUSENEGRO

    Its in your blood

  • obama bin ladin should not win he is a terrorist just look at his supporters look up luis farrakhan and abongo obama and jane fonda they are all anti-americans

  • I would not go that far in talking about Obama. I am sure he is no terrorist and many on the right have complained that he is too soft and not tough enough to lead this country. Terrorists are hards as nails. The association of his church with Louis Farakan is just plain outrageous. Jane Fonda is on a whole another level in terms of being anti-American. How that woman has lived so long without someone putting a bullet in her brain is beyond me. Not that I wish for such a thing to happen.

  • You seem to have a clear perspective on the realities of politics in America today. Right on, bro for rising above the media hype that is aimed at keeping some brothers (like this DereckLamar chump) down and ignorant! Keep on posting enlightening vids!

  • Thanks. I will. :-)

  • Ignorance is bliss

Is he going to plant bombs in the WHITEHOUSE..Our is he going to Highjack airforce ONE and slam it in the white house

GET the fUCK out of here with that KARL ROVE

    BULLSHIT IGNORANT FUCK!

  • Stupidity can be contagious so I suggest that you be quarantined forever. After all, stupidity is an incurable disease. Bye. :-)

  • You say you voting for mccain

Then get ready for the 3 world war with iran

    Housenegro

  • Honestly, after learning that McCain voted against MLK's birthday,I am not sure I will be voting for anybody. Obama and Clinton are both too liberal for me,a moderate, and in all likelihood Obama has a racial problem with Whites. Now it turns out that McCain might have a problem with Black folks. So,I am definitely not a house Negro. I am just a Black man that does not vote according to race but votes according to his concience and his beliefs. So should you and everyone else.Word.

  • Obama has a racial problem with whites?

Thats absurd considering he came from one?

    That will be called self-hate

  • Not really. He might not care for Whites in general while not hating every single one of them. Of course, this is just conjecture on my part. However,I cannot imagine why any Black person that does not have a problem with Whites would attend a church that honored Louis Farakan and where a pastor like Wright can get up and preach against rich White men when he should be preaching about God,salvation, and fighting against the true enemy of mankind who influences men to do evil deeds,Satan.

  • Ahhh man i can't belive you succumb to that

propaganda WOW! i suggest you stop watching fox news. That is not a racist chruch consider this,That chruch is part of a 98% white denomination if that chruch was preaching hate sermons why didn't the denominations suspend there membership?Did you know Rev wright was part a mission in 83 to save a white us navy pliot in africa with farakan

That the reagan administration praise? Please Don't

    succumb to this demonization.

  • Whether a person believes in God or not they should be able to figure out what a man of God should be preaching about from the pulpit. Hint:God and the Bible. Not politics or how bad "Whitey" is to Black folks. Ugh. And those folks in that congregation where applauding that mess. Wright said "God damn America" and said how Hillary was not good enough because she has not been persecuted like a Black man. Give me a break. I would have to be dead to be caught in a race baiting church like that.

  • Ya, i totally agree. Many blacks vote for obama in the sense that- "wow theres another black man running for president, im gunna vote for him". Stupid thing is: theyre just gunna vote for him cuz hes black? seriously, i could careless about hillary, mccain OR obama. I really dislike all politicans which is ironic- cuz im really political. Hillary= liar, hypocrite dumbass. Obama= barack

hussein obama, mcCain= another retard like bush. Point taken. Subscribe XD

  • Maybe many or most Blacks are voting for Obama just because he is Black. What I do not like people doing is assuming that is the reason without bothering to talk to Blacks or confirm that that is indeed the reason so many are voting for him. That would be similar to folks saying Whites are choosing Clinton over Obama just because she is White. And,it is true that votes for Clinton and Obama have fallen along the color line in some states. I am just asking people to be fair to Blacks. That's all.

  • +1000

  • You have a good point, i am white by the, and i don't think that race matters. now coming from a kid you have a good point, but the certan percentage of whites, its not just us. all want to say is, if you are going to talk about racism cosider the whole gruop not just whites, blacks, woman . but i agree with you you are a strong chathlic person

  • I think most Whites are like you and do not regard race or ethnicity in a negative way. In other words, they do not penalize folks for not being the same as themselves. I always consider whole groups of people and never characterize members of any groups as all being the same. I also am definitely against racism and prejudice on anyone's part and will jump on other Blacks in a heartbeat for making racist or prejudiced remarks. Thanks for your input.

  • I think you make a lot of interesting points WebAnt. I have not decided at all who I am going to vote for and this in-fighting mess is really not something that I am willing to entertain from the democratic party. Seriously though, they are the same on issues pretty much, but the way people are picking O's words because they have nothing else on him is desperate and pathetic to me. The elections in this country drag on too long for me anyway and wastes too much money. Get it over with already!

  • Just consider the type of church Obama is going to and you will get a good idea of how he feels about White people no matter what he says. His church is poison and anybody in it is racially poisoned. Trust me on that. Obama has racial issues. Take a good look at his church and you will see that for yourself.Your church and your pastor reflects on you and nobody sits in a church they do not agree with. To think otherwise is foolishness. His church honored Farrakan. Come on now. It is racist.

  • Thanks,RacismSux. I will settle for you agreeing with me on most points. Right now,I am trying to work things out with somebody that is not doing a good job of listening to me. Clearly, you are good at listening if you were not offended by my video because I said nothing offensive. You are right about McCain, but he is less a Liberal than Clinton and Obama. He is the only choice for Moderates like myself.Yeah,Obama's got charm but that church he is with is poison. He needs to quit it. Immediately.

  • Very nice video, man. I agree with you on most points. Now HERE's a dude who is NOT voting for Sen. Obama simply because he's black:

    watch?v=kica8hmSdAM

    Brilliant!

Oh, where I disagree, McCain is a Liberal feigning to be a Conservative. HOW did HE end up being the noninee? What happened, man? There were so many GREAT choices!

Obama and Clinton are so close on the issues, that it's about whichever is "liked" the most will win. Obama's charm is winning. rotfl!

  • but i think that is why he has alot of votes not all but alot but i think thats why its hillary vs obama because democrats arent doing their research

  • Hillary may also be getting a lot of votes for the same reason. Maybe lot of Democrats are not doing their research and realizing that both candidates are extremely liberal. Maybe more liberal than most Americans really are. Neither is a moderate no matter what they may say. Those with traditional ideas and values have only one candidate to vote for. John McCain.

  • Thanks. I am not speaking for the African American community. I am defending it.Each African American can explain for themselves why they are voting for Obama. I am just asking those who are assuming why to stop that and ask them instead. I am just asking those who are assuming to stop thinking the worst of Blacks and saying they are blindly voting for Obama because he is Black. I find that insulting and I am sure many other Blacks do as well. I never said I was not an oddity either. Take care.

  • You're entitled to your opinions. But where do you get off projecting your analysis of the entire African American community as if you're all wise and all knowing? If you object to being stereotyped so much why is so easy for you to stereotype others? Being African American and for McCain is more of an oddity than any pet theories you might have about why African Americans support Sen. Obama.
