I used to have a cat that would lay in a sink and drink water for hours and hours on end. He would let the water run on his head down his back and drink it off of his hur on his butt. He lived to be almost 20 and I've had cats my whole life including one now...and he was my favorite. Poor Mr. Pete.

We had a cat just like that lol. he will NOT drink out of his bowl, but instead he would rather drink out of the sink or the toilet. He loved running water. he will barge in on you when you are taking a shower so he could watch the water. or when you are using the bathroom. he loved to watch the toilet flush. he was a riot.

roscoe if he put the water bowl in the street bonk would get hit by a car and the humane society only takes cat if the owner is abusing them which hes not some cats just like to drink water from the tub or the faucet its not dangerous and it cant hurt him so why does it matter. My cat loves water and actually can push up the handle to turn the water on so we let him choose but we keep her bowl full of water
