  • Just to be clear.

armin van buuren never did this track, it's just a track cleverly edited over some footage.

    Thank you.

  • @Daandude1 Liar Liar Pants On Fire...

  • The composer of the original theme should be proud of himself...or herself.

  • I drive around with my windows down and blaring this song, taking my hands off the wheel to occasionally clap. Im going to crash someday.

  • is...is this fucking real....because I WOULD LICK AND EAT MY SHIT IF IT WAS

  • lolwut

  • im 12 and whats this

  • @CatTitBingo Kid, you were born too late... So you'll never learn about the past of video games...

  • @GranTurismo360 There are time machines. ;)

  • 52 games,one redeeming factor.It's not gameplay or graphics.

  • I lol'd

  • and now... the cheetah men...

  • To be honest, a substantial portion of the games on Action 52, from what I can tell from watching AVGN's review of it, have catchy songs. I guess that's the game designers' way of compensating for the poor graphics and gameplay.

  • @KantianEdifice they indeed do, now in 2011 i have lots of fun with action 52( running on an emulator obviously) i cant stop laughing about the immense quantity of bugs that shit has! but people back at 1991 who paid $200 im sure they didnt laugh hahahaha GREAT OST!

  • 1:10 - 1:28 I'm about to go Apeshit with that beat and the claps...

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome as this is, I'd like to point out that cheetahs are in fact the ONLY species of big cats who can NOT roar.

    Oh the irony.

Still this is badass. The music anyway, I think the footage is a lie xD

  • this is fake because both armin claps and music bit aren't the same hhahahaha

  • Awesome song from a crappy game!

  • mp3?

  • FAKE

  • @LeozinDJ You ARE a fake.

  • I wish most clubs would play this instead of that rap shit, definatly a club song

  • Yay Cheetmen! best game ever, woo-hoo! Seriously, Maybe 25 people remember the music from the game while the other 12,000 just threw their copy of action 52 in the trash.

  • and the 1% say ohh no it´s a Shiti game XDD

  • i want the cheetahmen sprites playing on the bottom-left corner

  • That "tekno" dancing are gay. Watch those guys from 0:21 - 0:27

  • @PanHellmuncikPL I think you have to be on drugs

  • ...I...BELIEVE!

  • Wait a minute, is this actually real? As in, not an edit? As in the song was really played in a club? The song is pretty awesome, but to see that it was played in a club makes my head spin... I never imagined it possible. I bet the guy who composed the song wishes he had copyrighted it.

  • @andoc don't worry next chance I get, I'll play this awesome song in a rave

  • TVTropes said this song is popular in clus and I had to see it to believe itXD Cool DJ:D

  • Good DJs get their music from shitty fucked up games, it all makes sense now.

  • 9 people actually played Cheetahmen

  • @RWO0711

    lol ahahaha

  • >come back one year later

    >highest rated comment

    I'm ok with this.

  • Am I the only one that notices that one of the biggest fails of all time has become one of the biggest cult phenomenons of all time?

  • @W00tPwnr That effect is called "so bad it's good". It makes shitty things become popular.

I'd take it one step further though and say SO AWWWWWWWWFUL that it's pretty darn awesome".

    CHEETAH MEN

    FUCKING

    ROAR

  • @SpiralPegasus reminds me of the DAYTONA USA ost. so bad it's good

  • @HarryFranz To be honest I adore the Daytona USA OST. I'm serious :(

    BRUUUUUUUU BRUUUUUU SKIES I SEEEEEE

  • I cant believe all this people are dancing for this shit game....

    well... cant blame them

  • @W8HairAddict It's a great, catchy tune. The game's appauling, but the tune, man... DA TÜN!! It's awesome.

  • i bet the people dont even know what this music is from

  • Why the hell does this horrible shit game have such great music? o_o

  • it let me remember Susan Boyle britain got talent

she is not good looking but her sound is good

  • lol, white people trying to dance.

  • Best Troll Ever.

  • @orangeapples

    seconded

  • i remember this game i just listened to the opening song because i could not play it cuz it sucked so bad.

  • bad game = good music? *multiverse implodes*

  • why this fucking piece of fucking horseshit game has this great music D:

  • someone should really find the original composer of the Cheetahmen theme and give him 1 million dollars...

  • @T0rche

And hunt down all the other people envolved in the production of Action 52!

  • Cheetahmen the best game ever. Why? THE SONG DUH!!!

  • OMG

  • Fuck yeah Holland.

  • This is just too fucking epic. Armin van buuren, played this shit? This is just fucking awesome, i need to know who did the original cheetahmen music, that guy was a fucking genius

  • God dammit, Japanese people. :(

  • How could such a shitty game have such a great song?

  • This DJ is a genius

  • If only those people knew the source of this...............if only.

  • @MexicanJuice7 I don't care if the game was incredibly horrible. It's not like you're playing the game to listen to the music anymore, and this is a great remix of an awesome video game song.

  • Huh...doesn't sound that bad actually. The roaring kinda ruins it a bit, but seriously, the techno mix is nice.

  • They are raving because they remember how awesome the game is.

  • If I heard this played in a club, i'd flip my shit

  • LMAO

  • im confused. it this real?!

  • HELL YEAH!!

  • LOL I can't believe this was played at a rave party....Where was I!? D: D:

  • hahahah this can't be real

  • CHEETAHMEEEEN¡¡¡¡ With Armin Van Buuren¡¡¡

    RAVE PARTYYYYY.

  • HELL YEAH CHEETAHMEN MOTHERFUCKER!

  • Think about all the E that's being dropped there... good lord.

  • RAVE FTW!!!

  • armin wouldn't play this music in his mixes

  • THIS IS REAL I WAS THERE

  • hey guys this is an edited video, well later

  • This can'tbe true... I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS IS TRUE!!!

  • VIDEO GAME NIGHTCLUB!!?!?

    ANYONE??

    I know i want one...

  • @VilleVale Look up the mana bar. It exists. It is real.

  • If i was in a club, and this came on. I think i would die happy.

  • SO FUCKING EPIC!!!!!

  • don't you know we're the mother fucking cheetahmen?

  • @deuone What the fuck, what are you being so mean for ?

  • FUCK YES!

  • Ellipses.

  • I have not seen any evidence that the Cheetahmen theme came from The Music Studio. While other Action 52 tunes clearly came from that product, as well as the Cheetahmen II Title Screen song, the main Cheethmen theme does not appear to be plagiarized.

  • All I hear in my head are the Duane and Brando lyrics to this song.

  • @RikuReplicate YES.

  • Don't you know we're the muthafuckin' CHEETAHMEN!

  • @RikuReplicate Same here ALSO the AVGN is about to review it as well

  • I'm pretty sure 99% of the people there are unaware where this song comes from

  • Who knows, maybe an OC Remix?

  • @squibble2 It's best that they don't know....oh god.

  • @squibble2 Apparently this song's fucking huge in Japan so who knows?

  • @squibble2

    Well, obviously.

While they're all MACE-ING WITH GLOWRODS they can't even win an Easy mode against Rachel Alucard in Blazblue CS.

  • @squibble2 I'm willing to bet 100% of people there didn't know where it was from, barring the dj. maybe.

  • @squibble2 A|nd I'm pretty sure that at least 80% of the people are unaware of reality at all.

But still, a very good mix.

  • @squibble2 I'm pretty sure the only one who knows where it come from is the DJ

  • @squibble2 I'd say that's a good considering how HORRIBLE the actual game was.

Still a kick ass song though.

  • @squibble2 the tune is awesome in general nuf' sed

  • @squibble2 The only one who knows what the song is actually from was probably the dj!

  • @squibble2 i am that 1% that knows where its from. having said that hearing this makes me want to play the game. granted its funny and bad

  • @squibble2 ROFL yeah, like the song in GTA IV with the little kid singing. It's a poor kid from Brazil, and people have (or had) no idea about it.

  • @squibble2 omg this is hilarious

  • @squibble2 That's good. Very good.

  • LOL

This song rocks. I'd jam to this in a club.

  • ...Only in Japan.

  • But this song was ACTUALLLY plagarized from an obscure music making program.

  • What's the program? I can't find the info anywhere.

Btw, any MP3 for the song in the video (that specific mix)?

  • ...which program? I badly want a program that can make even the 8-bit version of this song.

  • Even if it's fake, I love the song.

  • For once. I like that the people don't know where the music comes from.

  • cheetahmen! AHHHHHH! the horrible memories are coming back! MAKE IT STOP!

  • syobon action \o/

  • wait is this by Van buuren well that's explains everything

  • um........................

  • Like the music, but I guess the same can't be said for the game itself...

  • It is a really rave-y song. Even if you have no idea of its source, it's high-energy, catchy and danceable.

  • These people...

    They're Raving? To Cheetah Men?

Do any of them even realize where this music came from? Or do they simply enjoy the music? This is very confusing...

  • Calm down. This is 100% pure fake.

He just found a video with people dancing and clapping to the rythm of the mix, downloaded some clapping and crowd sounds, put that under video, and here you go. You got a Cheetahmen Rave party.

  • The song is, in fact, used by a DJ, though. The video is fake, but this has actually happened.

  • The above person is correct. The clapping heard in the song is of an audience absolutely loving this song. I'm not sure how or why, but for whatever reason, this bad game's song became extremely popular overseas, particularly in Japan, which is where I believe this was recorded.

  • SYNOBI ACTION?

  • stfu asshole

  • I hear clapping, but I no see clapping...

  • There are people clapping, you can barely see them -- they're just not in synch with the music in the vid.

  • download link pls =)

  • IN B 4

    CARAMMELLDANSEN IN DANCE CLUBS!!!

seriously, people will comply to anything and call it an AWESOME tune the following day!

  • It's happened.

Unfortunately, I don't have the link.

In fact, there is an ENTIRE JAPANESE CLUB dedicated to internet memes.

(that's about all I know, though. no particular details, unfortunately. it was one blog post and a video about a year ago.)

  • Even if this is just a remix/party videoedit overlap... still awesome.

    Music rocked. GAME SUCKED. Big-time.

  • where is the cheetah men club??

  • lol in a rave... im most if not all... in the club have any clue of where it comes from... nice...

  • I'm honestly a cheetahmen fan.

  • lmao thats all i have to say

  • love the ape-man boss thrown in there

  • I wonder if the person who made the music for the Cheetahmen II game has found out about it's popularity?

  • Awesome song, horrible game. This is what we call shining shit. Taking something horrible and making somethign beautiful out of it.

  • ...I honestly do not know what to say to this. I am stunned that the Cheetahmen have made such a lasting impact on this world, in spite of their origins.

  • I suppose it's best to have a small success come from a large fail than to succeed big and lose it all.

I now wonder who created the original music. I'm sure he'd be happy to knew it got some sort of following.

  • If it wasn't for the fact that the game's creators dove into proverbial hiding, complete with some people apparently threatening harm on those trying to investigate the franchise, I'd want to talk to the guys who made this as well.

Hell, it might make up for the fact that they flopped so horribly.

  • That's a shame, really. Sure, the creators may get shafted by some degree, but the musician behind the original can get some level of respect.

  • かっこよすぎ!

    これが一番チーターマンに合ってる気がする!

  • the best song ever

    the worst game ever

  • wwwww

  • Arrow tough fit

  • n00b .... rave rox

  • Had you even played Cheetahmen II?

  • Coooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!

  • whether or not this video was real, it still kicks ass! :3

  • Sigh, if only the Cheetahmen themselves were this popular.

  • id like to see daft punk with him

  • The Club is offically Awesome!

  • Cant match up with the Pumaman!

  • Who knew a shitty game's theme could have such awesome remixes? XD

  • My god...

  • lol

    I'm speechless...

  • There sure is quite a subculture reguarding this game's music.

  • You...have...got...to...be...kidding...me....

  • So this is how they made action 52....

  • This is after cheetahmen.

  • is this real?

  • Cheetahmen 20th Century's The best game
