This is odd. Tibetans discriminating against other Tibetans for believing in something they don't see as "truth" but then taking the Dalai Lama as supreme authority regardless of him being correct or not. What is the difference between Shugden and Chenresig? Both are essentially deities who have history in Tibet, why ban the worship of one but not the other? Is this "worship" of Shugden a devotional proclamation of allegiance and H.H. feels threatened? It is weird seeing these two sides of him.

I´been seen some videos and searching ( on the web) about this issue and as a foreign observer i think is sad to see tibetan people, Shugden practitioners and Dalai Lama's followers , both sides ripped apart from their motherland, having this futile discrepancy. Please feel free to respond and teach me more about it.

Oh my god! This is so ridiculous! Shugden practitioners are terrorists because they beat up people? What a serious and ridiculous allegation. On top of that, how are Shugden practitioners related to PRC. What is the evidence and what is the connection? Samdhong Rinpoche doesn't know how BS properly....

The TGIE whole-heartedly enforce the ban on Dorje Shugden without any care for those whom it affects. TGIE should investigate the Dorje Shugden issue deeper. It was Dorje Shugden who helped the Dalai Lama to escape the clutches of the Chinese and to safety in India. They should be thanking him not ostracising him.

That means that even murderers, people who do black magic to harm others, etc etc can attend his teachings but a minority group of Buddhist practitioners CANNOT!

You are representing the dalai Lama who you believe to be Avalokiteshvara. So why do you act like this? shouldn't you be even more kind if you are a follower of Dalai Lama?? Shouldn't you be an even better example? Shouldn't you be twice as good as the normal person?

This cannot be achieved by any kind of violence, discrimation, ostracisation or attacks.

isn't it sad that in defending their great Lama and spiritual head of their country, the Tibetan Govt are acting so atrociously against Shugden practitioners. Is that how they reflect their teacher? They show such a bad reflection of him and a bad reflection of their own practice.

Can a being who can incarnate at will, who is known as the Compassionate One suddenly harm millions? I doubt. Perhaps we should open our minds and think deeper. For those or us who have been exposed to the Dharma, we know that motivation is the key, not just the actions. Look around! The truth is, Dorje Shugden practice is NOT dying but rather FLOURISHING!

I wonder why is it that the Dalai Lama is promoting this ban. Obviously as a great strategist, he wouldn't risk his global image just to execute a ban of a small protector practise?

Dorje shugden is a ghost or not is NOT THE POINT.

The point is that Dalai Lama MAY NOT BAN ANY FORM OF WORSHIP IN A FREE AND DEMOCRATIC INDIA.

Because of this ban, Dalai Lama is going to court. He has been summoned by the High Court in Delhi to plead his case.

By the Dalai lama going to court is a huge message that WHAT HE IS DOING IS WRONG.

United Nations have sent representatives to investigate the ban from Dalai lama as it is not what a democratic leader should do.
