  • DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNN

  • dr zaius!

  • Keep pressing 8 !!!

  • those apes were like ahhh hell nah!!

  • When the first intelligent youtube comment shows up, it'll be like this.

  • @TwoCows23 amen!

  • I know Charlton Heston had the flu during filming. Is the hoarse voice {best heard on the word, "Take"} evidence of this?

  • @stevenscottoddballz That's actually part of the story. His voice was damaged, and he couldn't speak up to this point. The scientist ape thinks he might be intelligent, but he can't prove it to them because he can's speak. This is the point of the movie when his voice box finally heals and he can reveal his intelligence, and this is the first thing they hear him say.

  • it was better in the new one

  • @MannyMMA Correction my friend , it was EPIC in the new one

  • @MannyMMA uh no, the line was WAY better in this one, not just spewed out by some shitty actor. There was actually tension leading up to this, because it was the first thing they heard him say. In the new one it was just a reference, which is cool, but it was kind of goofy. Ceaser's line put him to shame.

  • @11808Clover The new one isn't just spewed out by some shitty actor. There was actually tension leading up to this, because it was the first thing Caesar did to stood up to him. So it wasn't goofy at all.

  • @FireStormBaller I meant malfoys's line, it just sounded stupid when he said it. I mean yeah when ceaser says "NO" that was awesome, that was just intense.

  • @11808Clover I meant Malfoy's lien too. It didn't sound stupidand just spewed out.

  • TAKE YOUR STINKIN VINES OFF ME YOU DAMN DIRTY GRAPE!

  • He sure has white teeth.

  • haha the simpsons ruined the credibility of this film.

  • THAT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE LINES EVER...

  • I had this as my ring tone.

  • HE SPOKE!!!!!

  • NOOO

If you don't know what I'm talking about go watch Rise of the POA

  • @taquitos45 malfoy finally dies

  • @detroitboy911 Lmao I kinda laughed at the irony of how he had an electric wand-thingy :P

  • Malfoys great great great grandson

  • caesar is home

  • @lk0micho "Caesar is home." *Monkeys epicly climb tree while I cry from the epicness of the movie and because I just realized that it's over :(

  • @taquitos45 I know I've seen it 4 times already! ROTPOTA= BEST MOVIE HOLLYWOOD EVER CONCEIVED!

  • @whitewolfwithblackSP Exactly. Well, I think ROTPOTA ties with Inception. It was pretty awesome. It's a BIT better than Inception.

  • @taquitos45

if you think inception was a good movie, i have some bad news...

    rise was amazing however

  • @AMetalWorld Bad news? Lol, how so? It's your opinion, it's not like we all have to form one judgement on the movie, if you didn't like it, then you didn't like it. Not my problem. Rise was amazing though :D

  • Needless to say, the ape took his paws off of Taylor.

  • Comment removed

  • Me to I mean get something new and him talking for the first time to say no

  • I really didn't like that they had to quote this line in the new film, it actually made me start to laugh. I loved what came after though, shut me up in a heartbeat.

  • @Boomkin1337 Really i thought it was perfect. i was so happy when he quoted the original!!!!

  • NOOOOO!!!

  • Best.scene.ever.

  • I knew Caesar was gonna talk in a mad dramtric fashion. Im 18, but I caught the reference and was very pleased.

  • and then what happened?

  • Help me Dr. Zaius

  • @relaxedguru89 everyone hushed with awe in my theater too

  • when malfoy said it i LUL'D

  • In the new movie, when Caesar responded to that line, the whole theatre hushed with awe.

  • @relaxedguru89 my theatre was full of teens so its was full of "WTF!" :DDD

  • @scrawny1023 Lol. Mine was full of teens too.

  • @scrawny1023 Yeah they had no idea that Caesar would talk. I kinda guessed he would.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "NO!!!"

  • No!!!!!

  • I LOVE YOU DR ZAIUS!

  • i like both versions, watch them together and see the message behind the new one; power corrupts, and arrogance never dies.

  • Ahh the 1967 movie. This one is better than the remake. Same goes for The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951). Same goes for "The War of the Worlds (1953)"... Now with a new remake of "When Worlds Collide" in the works, I seriously hope they dont blow it... It was afterall another 1951 movie.

Thanks for the vid, nice nostalgia factor.

  • damn tim burton to hell

  • lol, Taylor is epic ^_^

  • man, rise of the planet of the apes looks horrible

  • @XxMajorHaddenxX i just saw it i liked it :} i reccomend it

  • LOL Their heads just exploded!

  • Wouldn't you if your pet said aloud, "TAKE YOUR STINKIN' HANDS OFF ME, YOU DAMN DIRTY HUMAN!"

  • ipj

  • Was this the video from the recent mugging in New York?

  • Absolute highlight of C-Hest's career!!!

  • I use that phrase at least once whenever I visit Detroit...

  • No finer dialogue has ever been uttered in a movie. God bless Charlton Heston.

  • haha clasic...

  • lllllllllllllllllOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL hahahahha

  • Those were the exact same words my wife said to me on our first date...

  • @DarthSpringsteen DR ZAIUS DR ZAIUS DR ZAIUS DR ZAIUS DR ZAIUS DR ZAIUS OHHHHHHHHH DR ZAIUS

  • @DarthSpringsteen Ohhhh help me doctor seus :P

  • @DarthSpringsteen Doctor Zaius Doctor Zaius!

  • What I love about this line is that beforehand in the movie before his throat heals, you want to punch every ape for being so condesending to humans. Saying this in the middle of the street was like a huge slap across the face to all of them!

  • 4 people got stinking paws

  • im going to say this to my wife one day

  • @MrTheGReAtON3

    HAHAHAAA! Very random...Nice.

  • This movie makes me happy that chimp, gorilla and orangutan habitats are being destroyed (phew!)

  • "What's wrong with me?"

    "I think you're crazy!"

    "You're also lazy!"

  • @asdasd439 Dr Zaius Dr Zaius . . .

  • @MrPrankmastergeneral Ro-ro-ro-rock me Dr. Zaius!

  • Is this the new TSA video?

  • You did it. YOU CUT UP HIS BRAIN YOU BLOODY BABOON!

  • press 8 for colgate

  • i woulda been like ahhh hell no. What he jus say. Cracka ass motha fucka thinkin he better than us. Bitch gimme that whip.

  • The Tim Burton PoTA was...lackluster, but I like how this line is revered in that one.

  • HE CAN TALK?!

  • such a timeless classic :D

  • 0:35 ☺

  • Lol, then all the apes are like WTF, HUMANS CANT SPEAK? Man it's so weird how the humans cant talk in this one, but on the T.V series they can lmao.

  • who else is sick of people on youtube saying their age and then trying to make people think theyre clever and original for watching something

  • @MrOregona230 I'm 41 and it doesn't bother me at all.

  • No one gives a fuck about your age, you damn dirty wannabe.

  • If Tim Burton had remade this movie with the visual effects that they produced, it would have been a badass movie.

  • This is what i said when some Detroit gangsters tried mugging me

  • @AsskickinSasquatch BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • TAKE YOUR STINKING PAWS OFF ME YOU DAMN DIRTY APE!

  • Long live Charlton Heston and his epic films

  • 1st and foremost I would like to verbalate this is a matter of racism.....

  • 1st and foremost I would like to verbalate this is a matter of racism...

  • 0:42 .....OMGWTFBBQ face

  • I met Charlton Heston on the set of the film 'Alaska'. He is a true gentleman - as majestic and classy as he appears on the screen. One of the legendary greats along with Gregory Peck and Clint Eastwood. Too many pretty boys in Hollywood nowadays...

  • he can talk, he can talk, he can talk, he can talk... I CAN SING

  • Damned man animal can speack!

  • this is the edited version

    the actual line

take your hands of me you dammed dirty ape

  • @oxamanda93xo No it isn't. What the hell are you talking about?

  • @oxamanda93xo

Edited how? If you read his lips you can clearly see he says "stinking paws" and not "hands," so what are you talking about?

  • @ChopperBrain

The Pope, and the Holy Catholic Church as a whole, is unable by definition to define dogma concerning scientific matters (only matters pertaining to faith and morals). Popes and prelates may promote their own opinions and they may set limits on what can and cannot be considered by Catholics (such as stating that any "origin of life" theory MUST include Adam and Eve as our literal ancestral parents), but they are not the stance of the Church and are not binding upon Catholics.

  • This 43 second clip doesn't do justice to the 30 minutes of silence that came before it. And the first thing he says is...

  • @piderman

Yet another example of how pacing is key.The thing that made these few words great is those 30 minutes of silence.

  • Why can't the younger generations appreciate the great films of yesteryears? I am 17yrs old and can proudly say I have seen all the Planet of the Apes films. I like the original better then Burton's.

  • @einileethestrange i concur

  • @einileethestrange way to suck up

  • @einileethestrange you're so cool

  • @einileethestrange im 14 and my favorite movie is Jason and the Argonauts and ive seen all of these movies to :D

  • @einileethestrange why can't the older generations appreciate the great films of the present?

  • Comment removed

  • @CrazyChitTV You seem mad.

Are you mad that There Will Be Blood, one of the greatest films ever made, fucking decimated your precious libertarian ideology?

  • @einileethestrange i agree. my younger brother who is 11 has watched htem all in a row one morning and the same about tim burton..

  • @einileethestrange Maybe because as time has gone by, cinematic techniques have been defined to almost perfection. These movies don't look as good as their modern day counterparts, and certainly the acting can't be portrayed as dramatically with such long use of the same shot. Deal with it. You like the original on the sole basis it's the original, and it has some credit in being so.

  • @einileethestrange im 15 and i love classic movies. i hate remakes of movies. if there ever is a remake of all the star wars i will burn them and keep the originals

  • @einileethestrange

To be honest I didn't like movies older than 5-6 years when I was a kid, mostly because I focused on visual effects rather than acting, plot and the message. As I grew up I saw more and more classics and discovered how well made they are and how well they still hold up in this day and age.

Well, I grew up and matured. Sadly, I have a feeling this won't be true for the majority of kids growing up now. I have an eerie feeling we'll see lots of videogame movies in the future.

  • @McLarenMercedes Amen my friend. Its amazing how narrow minded and uninspired some people can feel when they get so caught up in the visual effects in todays films when the real messages are being ignored in films like Planet of the Apes. The beast of man reading from Cornelius is the message that sums up our existence and why we make the world the way it is. JJ Abrams is someone we should thank for helping our imaginations grow with original and thrilling films for one.

  • @einileethestrange good for you! I wish your generation did that more but those are the ones who have no love or interest in why these legendary films paved the way for the cinema now. These are the best years of hollywood. Spielberg, Scorsese and all of the greats would testify to that. The good news is that your not alone, these films will always be around, forever.

  • @einileethestrange this is why netflix is the best investment of all. Good on ya mate, now try the Godfather Trilogy :D

  • @einileethestrange Why can't the arse holes of my generation accept that people have their own taste in films.

  • @einileethestrange I'm 13 and I think Burton's sucked too.

  • @angus7021 I'm 12, and what is this?

  • @einileethestrange I'm 18, and while i haven't seen them all, i have seen this one, and appreciate them all.

  • @einileethestrange yea the original is more like Africa vs whites in America. Blacks are the dominate vs minority whites!

  • @oddsource no, because black peopleare not apes, they are humans like you.

  • @einileethestrange Does anyone like Burton's?

  • @einileethestrange fuck burton

  • @einileethestrange Cos you're a fag.

  • @einileethestrange i do im 13 but nobody cares about the age

  • For a second there I thought she was going to slap him...

  • Funny, interesting, provocative ... I went to the comments anticipating to read funny comments - and I come across a "VATICAN" discussion ... interesting ... in a twisted parallel, it's like the Vatican "reprs" Heston and the Apes "reprs" the "Scientific Estab." -- with the Vatican basically calling scientists "damn dirty apes ...." I can empathize 100% with the Vatican on this matter as scientists and "Big Brother" think "math and physics" created life or something obtuse like that ...! ;)

  • @ChopperBrain The Vatican has accepted all kinds of filth since Vatican II. I reject Vatican II, so what makes you think I'm on board with John Paul II?

  • Oh my God it can talk!

  • Some people need to get a refund on their brain, it's malfuncionate, spewing all sorts of natiolaistic bullshit and rascism-crap

  • Kim Hunter is so amazing in this!

  • Are orangutans, ginger niggers...?

  • @raoulmoatify wtf did you forget to collect your brain

  • I love this movie. Just watched it the other day.

  • This is what happens when white people visit kongo

  • Tim Burton's sucked.

  • @monkypo Amen
