dudes this is NOT aion...aion is the EXACT OPPOSITE of this video..the actual game sucks so much ass and the only use of this video is to keep players playing the game in the hopes of releasing this ''update''...stop being stupid and SHOW the company that we' re not sheeps and we dont fall into their traps...
This game had 2 major flaws when released: 1) the asiat grinding part from level 30 to 50. 2) the super simplistic and boring pve system. Nowaday the pve is still shitty but they improved a lot the leveling. However, AION has such a good world pvp system, one if not the best of all. Players can grow a real reputation on their servers, i like it more then a point system from an arena, so much drama. Instanced pvp aka dredgion was very nice at some point. Finally, Aion is end game or nothing
i dont get it.... the only complaint i hear about this game is the massive grind iono bout u but i like to enjoy the game and not get max level cap in 16hrs
you will be able to swim in 3.0 update??? cause now i can just move on to the bottom of a water with a cleric for healing lol btw from 3:45 and up did you used Mods or is it just that we will be able to "build" our own houses? cause in my opinion taht will be useless xD except if its just for decoration

@Miaumiauize They're actually getting there, they're already at 2.5 and the graphics update has already been implemented. They should be up to 3.0 within 6-12 months.
2.5 will be out Jan. 26th for Korea so we should see that some time in March or April and 3.0 is set to come out later this year as well so something to look froward too if you haven't already moved on.

Aion sucks balls. Not because of graphics or the way the game should play, but because of support and crashes. The programers don't know shit. They have to wait for the Korean mother company make the improvements and patches. When we have a problem they have to fix it in months. When Blizzard has problems, they pull the servers down and fix that shit in a day. I'd gladly pay for the expansions if the shit actually worked right.

If you play hardcore and match against any other hardcore played class your ass will get rape 80% of the time against any class. I have never met any or see a video from chanter like the Parris, Jainui, rheeza, exo, moonyy, eweezee 's ones and many others can do. If you can show me.

The story says that the reason they can fly is because theres aether... aether makes you fly in the game :\.. if you want Free to fly... play Flyff or other servers of aion :|

OK as fucked up but true as this is gonna sound....why in the hell is AION trying to mock other games.....you had your own originality and your screwing it up....why give us riding mounts......when we have wings....we should be able to fly whereever and not have to have a mount to ride around hence why we have speed scrolls b/c it's bad enough as it is. You give us wings now let us use them FFS you made restrictions in Temple where we can only fly so far or so high make it that way everywhere.

@makoshiron fly everywhere is not really what pvper are looking for. It's good enough that you can have pvp using fly in the abyss but most real pvper will tell you, gliding while doing ground pvp is way better. Aion had a lot of flaws at the begining, it became quiet good but by the time they lost way too many players (myself include), it's sad. They should have before to release it and include at least the 1.9 update in it.
@kroooassant That's only b/c melee flight PVP is still broken in this game especially if your an assassin. Unless your target stands their ground you either hope they land or you can outfly them. I am a hardcore PVP'er since before 2.0 and I enjoy the ground PVP but if flight was more established I would enjoy it as well. I think they can make it work they just have alot of work to do to get there. They need to implement more PVP content and leave PVE alone they've done more than enough there...
@makoshiron more pvp content i totatlly agree. Dredgion was a good idea but they just destroyed it and one pvp instance is just not enought lol. I really loved the dredgion in the good old time, now with all those door and stuff it's dull. I don't understand why they still didn't implement an arena or some other instanced battlegroud. And one last thing "PVP is still broken in this game especially if your an assassin" i was a chanter lol worst pvp class ever, so I know how broken was air pvp.
@kroooassant i have to disagree with you on the chanter being the worst pvp class, im a chanter and i am boss at pvp, especially against assassins and rangers with their cheap blind and silence godstones.
@makoshiron Your right its dumb to have wings and cant fly. But I like flight restrictions only in a few key places like Belusion. I think they should have something replace flight restrictions like flight sickness(if you fly too high you lose hp) forcing you to use other forms of transport I.E. Chocobo looking thingy in the preview..
@pokemonsavage I like flight restrictions im not saying we shouldn't have them I'm just saying we need more areas where we can fly b/c morheim and belu main city area and FT area just isn't cuttin it. Also yeah they need flight restrictions that would prevent you from taking advantage of being able to fly but not put the idea of being able to fly aside altogether. I also like the mount idea I never said it was a bad idea but the fact that it seems all too similiar to WoW is what I hate about it.
Don't worry WOW fans, trying this game is not cheating on warcraft. It's fun in my oppinion.. I know people will say my oppinion is wrong.. but that's a silly thing to say.. I would at least try it for a month, you might like it ^_^
2.0 introduced several upgrades and features. Mainly pets and a bunch of tweaks to gameplay and PVP. This is old, and was a vision put together by the design team to show what kind of eventual graphical detail and gameplay enhancements they wanted to bring in on the public client.

Aion Vision ain't 3.0.... the video is old and was released after the release of Aion... It shows NCSoft's plans/ideas for Aion in the future.. The content is to be released in expansions and patches to come...
The game won't look like this until maybe 5.0 or 6.0.. but that doesn't realy mather , I will wait ^^

Im not a WoW fan, but im a casual player of Aion. WoW PvP does take some effort and skill, but its PvE is a joke as said. P2P games are the best (Aion) because they dont get cash shop raped.
Tbh Aion 1.9 failed with CryEngine cuz in pvp with alliances the fps drops signyficantly down even with 2x 5970HD, and i mean way down to less than 25fps.
Im w8ting for 2.0 though wich goes live in Sept 7th, and next year this time Blade&Soul goes beta.Im so gonna leave Aion for Blade&Soul.

Dear people who claim "lawls this is 2.0,
2.0 introduced several upgrades and features. Mainly pets and a bunch of tweaks to gameplay and PVP. This is old, and was a vision put together by the design team to show what kind of eventual graphical detail and gameplay enhancements they wanted to bring in on the public client.

Aion Vision ain't 3.0.... the video is old and was released after the release of Aion... It shows NCSoft's plans/ideas for Aion in the future.. The content is to be released in expansions and patches to come...
The game won't look like this until maybe 5.0 or 6.0.. but that doesn't realy mather , I will wait ^^

the updated graphics for this game is when they switch from cryengine 1 in use now to cryengine 2 which is supposed to be in 3.0 the reason WoW doesn't look as good because they still make WoW using 3ds max and they are kind of forced to just because of the massive amount of players playing the game

They should try to improve the PvE endgame content instead of adding more useless graphical features that no mature gamer gives a crap about.
Agreed, this looks great if you're a twelve year old that likes pretty shiny graphics, but it adds nothing to the game experience.
Also to everyone that's saying Aion is more about PvP, you cannot have a good PvP experience without decent character movement and environment interaction. Right now it's like running around with a physically disabled person.

Im not a WoW fan, but im a casual player of Aion. WoW PvP does take some effort and skill, but its PvE is a joke as said. P2P games are the best (Aion) because they dont get cash shop raped.

Tbh Aion 1.9 failed with CryEngine cuz in pvp with alliances the fps drops signyficantly down even with 2x 5970HD, and i mean way down to less than 25fps.
Im w8ting for 2.0 though wich goes live in Sept 7th, and next year this time Blade&Soul goes beta.Im so gonna leave Aion for Blade&Soul.
Only one thing i really really would like to see in Aion. ...blood

It is, but even with the worst Xpack they still are the best MMO out there at this time. It may chance, but don't nerdrage like a 9 year old and say "WOW SUCKS" because you hate it.
