That clindamycin is crazy good! lol...and you see results within like a week of use. I used a moisturizing facial bar that my dermatologist sales and it worked very well. I'll find out who manufactured that face bar and let you know
The best thing for Acne is Organic Ground Flax seed!!! My skin is so clear and I havent had clear skin since I was abt 15! Ground Flax seed is full of Omega 3.6, and 9 which rids the body of Inflammation such as Acne, Arthritis etc., My parents and I spent so much money over the yrs on dermatology visits and topical treatments when all along it was abt what i was putting into my body not on my body!! Within weeks my hair looked better, my back, chest and face acne cleared along w the dark spots!
Too funny!!!!!! yes i'm just picturing you frantically searching in yr handbag for hand crm while looking over your shoulder ready to dive back onto the examination bed at the hint of her shadow!!! LOL!!!
Have you tried dudu osun black soap? it's mainly sheabutter n palmkernal oil v moisturizing, all natural and has rave reviews, i've just started using it :)
Girl, that's exactly how it played out lol, while wearing a backside baring paper robe!
I have never heard of it. I have a skincare regimen that works now, but I know that it doesn't hae the most organic ingredients, so I am grateful for the info.
My dermatolgist also prescribed Cleocin T nd tazorac for me. For my skin=miracle workers!!! I'd say it took about 4-6 wks to see a diff, but it's been a year now, nd I'm doing great! He gave me 2 diff forms of each med bcuz of season changes. In the spring/summer I use the solution form of the cleocin nd the gel form of the tazorac .05%. The winter, I use the lotion form of the Cleocin T nd the .1% tazorac. Peeling is to be expected from time to time, as your skin acclumates to it.
I use to have breakouts on my cheeks and it was due to the products in my hair getting on my skin while wearing my hair down, your skin may just be sensitive to the products you put in your lovely hair!
I continued to see a dermatologist for adult acne for years, trying all the products you mentioned and more. My skin is very oily too. I finally realized the products that dried my skin out actually cause more oil and breakouts! I started using natural Chagrin valley soaps to cleanse and unrefined shea butter to moisturize. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Not only do I have less oil, but the dark spots are fading, and my skin no longer has the dry patches!
that tazorac works really well, however it makes u face peel like CRAZY, and only put it where u need it. i used it to help clear up some really bad breakouts and then left it alone it works well but use a light hand. My skin is kinda sucky but i found Murad to give me the quickest and best result. good luck
also meant to say that I love kbb. I live in NY so I am always up in there. I mainly use her hair butter and super silky. the hair milk is nice but my hair does not like veg glycerin. if you want a hot twist out try the hair milk with hair butter. phenomenal.
girl I have bad skin as well. I have been dealing with it for too long. I have tried everything and been to the dermatologist as well. the stuff the derm gives you is hella expensive and after awhile stops working. also I didn't want to become dependent on it.
I find that what has helped me is 2 a week making a mask using indian (ayurvedic) powders. I use amla and neem, just great. also if you really want to try some good soap bars, try chagrin valley soaps or kirk's castile coconut soap
Baby, try to use coconut oil for your skin. My skin is delicate too. I use coconut oil for the skin and a humentad. I also use organic soups like olive oil Syrian soup, is just great. Kisses.
ty soo much! you are too sweet, I appreciate your advice :). I was dissapointed with these meds b/c i did want to use more organic products and tazorac etc doesn't fit the bill at all lol.
Darling, your hair is beautiful. I just wanted to say, coconut oil is great for your body skin. I am using it everyday, I have been using it for like a month, and I can see the difference, quite a lot. Cheers, love from Japan
My dermatologist just switched me from Retin-A to Tazorac & I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. I think It actually works better, only difference is I have to moisturize before instead of after an application. BTW... fab mane ;^)
Hey :) My skin is soooo oily. I'm even oily in the vid above lol, so i'm counting on this to dry my skin out like the sahara desert. Your skin is amazing, i'm hoping for the same results. Ty for your feed back. I have to use it every other night says my directions, is it the same for you?
I have to apply it every night before bedtime. I saw results within 7 days & even though it's different for everyone you may see a change quick as well. Thanks also, I REALLY have to stay on top of my skin care regimen(topical & internal.)
I love the consistency of the cream..when I saw it it seemed like it was going to be a thin or that i'd have trouble rubbing it on (some creams i rub on and if i rub too much it rubs off).
I am working on the topical aspect of things now I just need to work on the internal aspect of things :)
have you heard of the lierac skin care line? I used one of their primer and lifting serums and i swear that I lost an eye lid fold lol.
Too funny @ least u had sum lotion, back in the day when we had to dress down for gym class boyz would look down and see white ash on blk skin...LMAO gurl they would start using spit LOL spit
true lol, but it was after the fact lol. You should have seen her trying to keep a straight face...then she made me turn around on my stomach only for me to reveal an even ashier booty :'( LOL. The lotion has special directions to place on my butt lmfao.
LMFAO!!! I know right! I was soooooooo embarrassed. When she exited the room for a sec i reached in my bookbag for my lil hand lotion to try to put it on my legs and stuff lol.

Hi, Just wondering how that regimen is going?
iLUNATV 2 years ago
the regimen WAS going great until I took a biotin supplement that broke my skin out :(. Tazorac is especially great.
Ty for asking!
take care :)

keep your hair out of your face it may be the hair product you use that gets into your skin from your hair

when I was relaxed I always has bsl and i treated my hair like garbage (the ends showed it).
for relaxed hair, i'd truly siggest staying away from any type of
-glued in extensions
-heavy oils (heavy hair is harder to comb through w.o breakage
-minimal weaves (2-3 per year)
-deep conditioning prob every 1- 2 weeks
-combing gently
-don't use brushes on your ends
-trimming when there is significant damage
-try not to deal with the 2 textures unless your new growth is very managable.
