  • it sound compressed and misrepresented by the recording . I know its a lovely guitar

  • Of course. It is always compressed when you upload it to YouTube.

  • It depends on whether you like a slightly wider neck width (1 & 3/4") that the 16RLSH has, or the slightly narrower neck width (1 & 11/16") that the HD-28 has. Both are great guitars. The HD-28 will have a more boomier bass and better resale value due to the familiarity of the model with players.

  • DO you think this would be a good buy over the hd 28 i was lookin at the 28 but stumbled on this one , i was a bass player first in 1991 i play all originals and like bottom to my songs , i know this neck joint is different and i have never really shopped for a good acoustic i play prs and gibson and fender custom shop strat so gettin one acousitc i dont have to replace would be great HD-28 OR 16R LSH any feed back would be great

  • I have several audio clips of the PSD10, but not any video clips. I'll work on it...

  • You are so correct. The LSH was the best sounding dread I had up to that point. My current guitar, a Stanford PSD10, will give the Martin a good run for its money though.

  • It's a shame you had to sell it. Beautiful guitar.

  • Sounds damn good to me.

  • Thank you.

  • first part sounded like she'll be comin around the mountain.. lol

but anyways, how did you install that bone saddle? I have no money, I've been playing a Squire for a year, and am now finally able to purchase a Takamine for around 300$ I'm hoping to improve the tone by adding brass or tusq (man made ivory) pins and a Tusq saddle and nut. but i have no idea how :( i was searching on here on how to do so...

  • I sent you a message with some links on how to install a saddle.

    Thanks.

  • get bone or faux tortise Not brass unless u want to sound like a dobro.

  • Great guitar nice playing

  • Thanks for listening and for your comment.

  • Great collection of guitars. But in all of your videos, the sound is so "sharp" it sounds like you're playing hard right next to the saddle. But looking at the video - you're not playing there.

Is this because of the camera? Would you say the video's audio is a fair representation of the sound?

  • It's the video camera's limited recording quality that gives that impression. They do not sound harsh in reality.

    Thanks.

  • way to bright I listen to all your other guitars and the aria ad 80 still sounds better I have had martin d28s guild d55s sold them all harmony central pretty much tells the stor on the aria ad 80

  • amazing sound, how much did it cost, and what strings are you using?

  • I was fortunate enough to find it on Ebay, and bought it for $1400. I am using Eric Clapton Phosphor Bronze Medium guage strings right now. I also have used D'Addario PB EJ-17 mediums before that. I am liking the EC strings pretty well.
