I researched a bunch of ion platform netbooks. The HP mini 311 made the top 3 on my list. Ultimately, I bought the asus 1201n. It's more expensive than the mini but it offers more raw power with a true dual core processor (a first for a netbook) and Win7 Home Prem 32 bit (full version). The asus blows away the HP mini in almost every category including size (the asus has a 12.1" screen and full chick-let keyboard). The only con: it has less battery power...about 3.5 hours with heavy use.
@txmoney sadly someone can't go far from the 3.5 hours with light use too. That's why I bought the 311. I could easily get 5:15-5:30 while surfing on the net, and that's great. And the 1201n charges really-really long, and uses a lot more power doing it(power=money), because the bigger battery.
No. There is another one that I'm looking to purchase called the ASUS 1201PN with ION2 and nvidia optimus. Technology will not allow me to have money in my wallet...
