These writers are really lazy. The horse talisman is suposed to "expell alien forces within" not cure disturbice within someone's organs (sea sickness). Plus, it expells things, not regenerates the metal hull.

@khk9803 the horse is a healer which is why it healed child valmont's cut in a later episode and the giant hole jackie put in shindeu using the dragon talisman in the first season.
