  • How to clean a BiOrb:

    1. Throw this glossed up "tank" out

    2. Buy a real tank

  • I would love to know what type of plant that is and the general set up for one of these, a website with instructions will be of help too. I want to do this myself :)

  • I like to have one of these but the price at the moment is kinda to much

  • Can i place ceramic media on top of the filter?

  • i have a biorb flow 30L. i washed everything and dried it and the water is a bit cloudy mainly near the top of the tank how long will it take until i can put my betta in?

  • This might be an aquarium, but NO FISH TANK! How many liters does this keep? 20? 30l? This is a bowl and no fish tank. Im not even sure if this is large enough to keep shrimp! They should stop selling this. Thats cruel. Everyone who keeps fish in this bowl is an ass and should be locked into a 20sqft room for the rest of their life!

  • Make more videos and about fresh water fish and What can live with a guppy

  • Your videos are very helpful :D

  • what is this for crap? are there any primitive people that put a living being in such a little bowl? they must be retarded for selling this as a 'aquarium'.

  • Lol my grandma has one it's 60 liters and she has only goldfish

  • can you get a baby biorb heater?????

  • where do you get thee pebbles from

  • muy feo

  • biorbs are rip offs

  • lol thats like a fancy jail cell for a fish.

  • u not answers my question mate can iuse your video in my website or book plzs

  • Is it ok if i can us this video on my new website

  • Is it ok if i can us this video on my new website

  • Is it ok if i can us this video on my new website

  • you sound like a twat mate fuck off

  • are they cheap

  • I dont like biorbs $89.00 and there 5 or 6 gallons and you can buy a ten gallon kit and get a perfect ten gallon tank

  • I'm wondering about biorbs. They seem too good to be true. The elegance and small size of a goldfish bowl, but without the health problems.

Do they actually work, or is it more bullshit? Pretty much every aquarium owner who knows their stuff just say its an expensive fishbowl, and your fish will still die after a few years in it, because all the same problems of fish bowls are still there (poor surface area, small space, poor oxygen flow)

  • i am lookin to get a biorb fish tank im lookin to put it in my room does anyone no if it makes a loud noise????????????

  • Is there a video that shows how to turn it into a tropical baby biorb and when should I introduce the fish?

  • a betta fish is the only fish capable of living in this

  • @mrflyfishingak

Bettas NEED tanks at LEAST 5 Gallons.

  • @flipper10158 not true.

  • @flipper10158 thats not untirly true

  • Nice video! Planning to buy a fantail goldfish in da future :)

  • i'm thinking about getting a biorb and i have a small bedroom but i think it's big enough to fit a 30 liter. should i get a baby or 30 liter, i'm thinking of getting a few small neon fish. Oh yeah and can you clean the filter.

    thank you

  • you can clean the filter out, (the sponge) and reuse it, if you notice your tank getting really dirty you'll still want to replace it with a new one every once in a while. The larger the tank the better, just because you can put more fish in it and give them more room, but the baby biorb works great for small setups of a few fish

  • @Seahorse402

even bette is to just put some garneles in the tank instead of fish. 30 liters are just to small for fishes. Also the water tends to get faster poisenous for the fish (nitrite and/or ammonia). You rather start with a 50 liter tank or something similair, its easier to handle. Also if the tank is bigger you don't have to change the water that much.

  • if i make it saltwater, what fish can i put in and how many?

  • depends on the size, a rough rule is one inch of fish per gallon of water, that depends on the fish though too. Some fish need more space and some less

  • @Seahorse402 saltwater with live rock=1 inch of fish per 2 gallons without live rock 1 inch of fish per 5 gallons!

  • @kidfriendlyfoods you cant make this ball saltwater, seriously.

  • @kidfriendlyfoods it's still 1 inch per gallon.

  • @kidfriendlyfoods I wouldn't reccomend this as a saltwater nano tank, and I defintely would NOT reccomend trying to keep any marine fish in this. Most species of marine fish are too large and too delicate for such a small environment, they are very picky about the water paramenters.

  • @wildnotmild1

What? How are these prisons? I mean, for $60-70 bucks I know you can get a better tank, but jeez, these aren't THAT bad. 4 gallons for a betta is hardly a prison.

  • biorbs are an awkward shape , i cant imagine trying to catch a fish in there

  • what stuff do you get with a 30 lr biorb

  • 70 bucks for a bowl with a sponge filter (pretty sure there is no heater in there) is a bit of an overkill...

  • Very cool, a bit pricey.

  • How much does that cost

  • It is 69.99 at EverythingBiorb

  • @Seahorse402 Can you put small live plants in this thing?

  • Nice

  • hi i have a baby biorb and my bubble tube isnt working no b ubbles come out whats wrong?

  • @lfclikewalfc is the air stone clogged?

if so get a new one

  • @oddysea682 where do u find that?

  • @lfclikewalfc well online or you can buy it at petsmart

  • at EverythingBiorb online

  • @Seahorse402 no i mean in the tank

  • check and see if there is water in your air pump, if your air pump is below the tank it might have gotten water in the air hose and into the pump which will stop the pump, or your pump might be dead

  • can u get the light with batteries?? I really hate that there is a cord hanging down

  • not that I know of

  • What is the purpose of BiOrbs? I heard they are expensive?

  • im getting 1 ov theez 4 my b'day :D

  • my baby biorb is kinda' foggy...

just got it yesterday... and i think i made a mistake and add my (betta) fish too fast.

what can i do to fix it now...? :(

  • Hi, I have a Baby BiOrb. It has that grass ring in the middle. The filter, heater light, air pump and filter media. I don't have thoes Gold Pebbles. I'm thinking of buying them, maybe two different colours. If I add two packs it will fill up all the bottom? If it fills up all the bottom of the tank, could I add 2 or 3 corydora's with my betta. The filter media at the bottom is sharp and if you add the gold rocks could I add some small catfish like oto's or corydora's?

    Thanks!

  • technically with the feng shui pebbles you could add corydoras because the pebbles are smooth, however, cory's feed off the bottom and since the pebbles are large pieces of food will fall through the cracks between the pebbles which will make it hard for your cory's to find food.

If you decide to get cory's I would recommend getting tablet food for bottom feeders because that will be big enough that it probably won't fall between the cracks and they will be able to get it easily to eat it

  • @Seahorse402 Thank you :). I have just got a pair. I don't have the golden pebbles. But they are fine. I just fed them. They are eating the tablet foods they seem to be fine :) They are active. Do you think it is worth adding the stones? I'm upgrading to a 10 gallon tank soon... Not a biOrb its just a normal 10 gallon tank filter, heater, pump e.t.c I got them these mini algae tablets.

  • Is that with all the stuff that comes with it?

  • It doesn't come with the gold pebbles and the grass ring decoration but it does come with the light, filter, air pump, ceramic media

  • how do u change the water on the biorbe

  • the best way is to get a biorb siphon hose and then do a partial water change taking out about 20% of the water while siphoning the bottom of the aquarium and then replacing the water with fresh water treated with a water conditioner

  • is the filter in the middle?

  • yeah the filter is in the middle at the bottom of the tank, it is attached to the bubble tube

  • lol lemonade

  • Bought a 30L ages ago and my hobby just grew :) Have a Juwel Rio tank now with a few juvenile piranhas :)

    Keeping fish is awesome!

  • Thanks thats was really helpful, I've just bought a 60L biorb, can't wait to have it all set up :o)

  • lol the jellyfish in those desktop tanks are fake

  • Does this have sort of the same technology as say the jellyfish desktop tank? Where the bubbles have the power to make the clockwise circular water flow so I could possibly keep a jellyfish in one? (Not the baby biorb)

  • Can you guys make a video on how to clean a biorb. Thanks

  • DUDE thanks soooo much i wanna get a biorb for myself and my mom and thank you so we know what to do!

  • This may seem like a really stupid question, but ca you turn off the filter/light at night??

  • You should definitely turn the light off at night but you should leave the filter on. There is a light switch that you can switch the light off or on easily.

  • Thanks for the reply :).

Is it very loud (the filter)?

  • I have one of these and the filter is really quiet. You can hardly hear it even at night.

  • how much?

  • At petco, it's around 159$

  • You should leave the filter on because it will help to circulate the water and oxygenate the water. If for some reason it isn't on for a little while the tank will be fine though - hope that helps

  • The filter never should be off when you're cylcing or changing right? it seems there are no video's on how to do that and I've had mine running for 2 weeks so when I get my cleaner pump tomorrow I don't want to do anything wrong this weekend.

  • it depends on the type and size of goldfish and your tank, if you have a baby biorb you don't want to put too many fish in it. I have one betta in my tank, goldfish can be messy and grow really big, some people don't recommend keeping them in the baby biorb because they grow too large. Hope that helps

  • hi i got one a coupple of weeks a go i have one goldfish in right now can i add another hes been in 2 weeks

  • thank you so much!!!!!!!!!

  • Awsome, thank you. Great Video.

  • Thanks for the video, really useful.
