  • ignorance is abundant....why does everyone attack African American leaders....listen before you sad something ignorant.

  • The sheep are asleep and cannot awake from their slumber!

  • The civil rights movement achieved equality under the law decades ago. Amiri Baraka seems like another perpetuator of the civil rights movement racket, which seeks to keep victimhood alive long after equality under law is achieved.

After decades of overwhelming support for Democrats, they have their wish: because nothing has changed during.

This message of perpetual victimhood is the self-fulfilling prophecy: if u believe it, it becomes true. IT CONTINUES TO SERVE THE LEADERS NOT THE PEOPLE

  • @horsie111 we dont have anything close to equality under the law. the civil rights movement brought an end to legal segragation but thats it. integration and assimilation does not mean equality. not that im a segregationist but there were more problems than that, these problems were neglected and continue to this day

  • @horsie111 "The law never made man a whit more just" --Henry David Thoreau

  • @horsie111 This is not a message of victimhood, although African Americans have been victims of political oppression since 1619, as well as today. Neither Democrats with their history of KKK affiliation and abortions of predominately black communities, or Republicans with their negligence of empowerment zones in black communities (better schools, better jobs), have served the interests of African Americans. We need more than just a black president. We need more blacks and minorities in congress.

  • Ameri Baraka lives for eternity. His statements; silently shutting the mouths of critics who will pass away under the sands of his prophetic poetry.

  • This is terrible! :/

  • America has the right to protect their own land and people from jihad terrorism..a poet can do nothing..i have heared a proverb that 'pen is better than sword'..heheh i think only swords can do something against worthless jihad terrorism

  • Warez, sancho, nomejodas, and crusader, My exact sentiments. This garbage, the rantings of a resentful piece of crap, is being passed off as poetry. WTF! The bar has definitely been lowered. Mediocrity is celebrated as high culture. Walt Whitman is turning over in his grave.

One of the fruits of multiculturalism is that it lowers the IQ lol

  • Bananas anyone?

  • How about an ode to my balls. Fuck Obama and Amiri Bara-caca!

  • The ad for fishsticks in the beginning was kind of a mood killer.

  • The fact that I saw an Amway commercial w/ John Tesh's voice before the video loaded is a disgrace.

  • Great...

  • I don't think Baraka believe in the Obama myth if I heard him corretly. Truth be told, I don't blame him.

  • there's some good things about the poem but i didnt think it was good. i bet he has better ones. i want to see the film adaptation of baraka's play, "dutchman." it's supposed to be really good.

  • can any one please direct me to the TEXT itself? I will be ever so thankful.

  • "you have already failed"

  • I disagree! a great poet...

  • I was having a discusstiion not an aguement with you. I never called you out of your name. The only thing I posted was Think before you act. By The way I am not 40 years old. Look beyond!!!

  • Your parents never told you keep your mouth closed if you didn't have anything nice to say.You made yourself sound very DUMB.Sometimes it's best to keep your thoughts to yourself.

  • Ditto douchebag.

  • No need for the naming calling. Don't get mad cause I checked you as if you were my son.

  • And don't suddenly get mature because I treated you like a peer. Sometimes it's best to keep your thoughts to yourself.

  • View my first posting. I took the mature route from the start(MY SON).

  • Yea, mature. Look, maybe this poem was good. BUT, just the way the guy read it, I immediately disliked it. Granted my poem was a little harsh, but I was mad that he totally butchered his own work. Maybe you were peeved that my poem was a little too campy, maybe you thought I was pissed at the subject matter, I don't know why you're so aggitated. All I know is while this poem was average at best, the reading of it was horrible. And any 40 year old who argues with an 18yr old is pretty lame.
