My student gave me a model 42 a few years ago and it is a very nice ventenueve (the old Filipino term for the so-called balisong). You are the best I have seen with these knives. I did see a man who could put the knife in his front jean pocket and throw out a orange and draw the knife and stick it before it hit the floor. You are probably still better! @rokareltje4 Fuck how sharp it is, you can get a piece of plastic razor sharp. You spend the money for the materials and craftsmanship. If you spend that much more money from the right manufacturer and you are guaranteed a more balanced, better knife.

well i've got a pretty decent butterfly knife, and fuck yeah it's sharp... can cut trough flesh without forcing it, so my point is... you don't have to pay 200 bucks for a knife, a knife is a knife as long as it stabs and cuts

@rokareltje4 If you just want it for cutting flesh, than you're right. Too expensive. This guy isn't doing that. He's flipping it, and incredibly well at that. Cheaper balisongs often have weak screws, meaning that the handles can break off if use use them too hard. Like you said, though, the blade is still scary sharp. You don't want that flying off. The BM 42 uses top quality materials (Titanium, 154CM), so that's not going to happen. It's also balanced, so it's easier and more fun to flip.

What do you mean? The one I flip is a Benchmade 42, the miniature one is a bone and brass FHM, and the green one at the end is a S.W.A.T Tiger. None of them contain wood, or are trainers.
