@bhp123654 Okey. You do know how to navigate using the CX-CT9A using the [+] [-] [up] [dn] (=arrow keys) and [MENU] and [Exit] keys?
Holding [MENU] gets you into the menu, shortly pressing [MENU] functions as Enter/Save. You can use the 'arrow keys' to select settings, shortly pressing [MENU] enters the menu or saves the setting.
First thing to do is set the transmitter mode correctly. hold [MENU] -> enter [SETTINGS MENU] -> select [STICK SET] -> MODE 1. (MODE SELECT is model selection.)
would these programming settings be suitable for controlling the copterx 450SE (2- bladed) or would they differ?. Sorry i forgot to mention my transmitter is a mode 1.
@bhp123654 I have a CopterX 450 Pro v3 and it does have a different programming. Biggest differences are in individual servo reversing and the three swash mixing values so everything moves in the correct direction.
In my case throttle is always 'reversed', but with mode 1 this needs to be set to 'normal' (black box on the left side in CX-CT9A Channel menu).
Take the main blades off the helicopter before you try anything though, you'll first need to verify the throttle channel is correct.
Thanks so much. If it's not to much to ask, what are the programming settings in your transmitter, because i've got an un-programmed transmitter :( "CopterX (CX-CT9A) Transmitter ", pretty much a duplicate of the turnigy transmitter.
@bhp123654 Yeah, that's probably the same transmitter. Not too much to ask, but it's perhaps easier to just show all that in a short video. I fly mode 2, throttle on the left stick by the way in case you're going to take the same channel reverse settings. It's important the transmitter is set to mode 2 in the programming too.
But I will see if I can make a short video sometime today.
@PHeMoX Oops, oh and the Turnigy Typhoon 500 motor I forgot to mention.
Performance is excellent. A bit too good actually, so you'll probably have to make sure you do not use the full 100% of the throttle like I did. I'm using it with a 85% maximum throttle limit set to be safe. Can't quite recall the exact warnings, but I hear some people ran into issues running it 100%.
Okay

Wow very steady and controlled hover you have this bird set up to perfection you make it look easy but slow manoeuvres like this are so hard to do.
