Is there a way to get Red Sonic without the use of a code? I have gotten blue Knuckles naturally, but never red sonic. Character combinations are quite interesting, aren't they?

as Sonic go to Sky Sanctuary 2 and beat mecha sonic.

when the island is about to go up, go in debug then back out. make sure you have a block so you don't die

Might be a bit hard without a game genie, if not impossible. Get the emulator or ROM for a pc, or use a game shark for the literal console.

Matthew, you can still use debug mode for the PS2, it won't help to achieve this at all. Debug only fucks things up desirably on one plane, you need to fuck things up desirably on a whole nother higher plane to get this effect.

Activate level select by starting level 1, grab a vine and press left x3, down x3 and right x3 until you HEAR A CHIME. Pause, press A (or square on the PS2) to return to the main menu, press up while highlighting 1p to find Sound Test.

Do the same (L,L,L,D,D,D,R,R,R) but on the pull devices in Mushroom Hill. pause, press A again. Bingo, enter any level A reverses the gravity, B changes into any item, at that point A will change the item, B will return to your character, C pastes that item.

If you're pressing L,D,R x3, then that's wrong. It needs to be L,L,L,D,D,D,R,R,R until you here a chime, also you need to do it fairly fast (not uber fast though). Do it as quick as you can, you should hear the chime. Pause the game and try pressing the buttons, it should return to the start menu (A), do slow motion (B) or move one frame per second (C), I might have got B and C the wrong way round though.

thats cause debug mode dosnt work on xbox 360 because the games are actually on sega vintage. you can't do cheats on sega vintage games
