History will judge president Bush as an illegitimate president who won the White House with a combination of vote suppression, legal technicalities, and a conservative Supreme Court that was there to rule in his favor when the time came. He has proven all his critics correct, as he lacks the sophistication and the character that being the leader of the United States of America requires. He is little more than the fall guy for banks, industry, and Wall Street.
No one is buying ANYTHING Bush has to sell, Newt. And what are you selling? Your book, Real Change. The prescribed change? Reduce spending and tax cuts. Real revolutionary, doncha think? Does Newt cover the devastation to Detroit's economy by trade agreements like NAFTA, taking manufacturing jobs out of the country? Nah...it's the bureaucracies that are destructive. He bemoans the state of education, but advocates cutting spending even further. Is he under the impression that will help???
