How much is this TOY truck with TRD OFFROAD and how much with TRD SPORT package?

now if i were to get the TRD sport long box, would it be possible to get a locking rear differential from the TRD off road and put in in the Sport??

hi, im looking into the 09 tacoma's and im just wondering, im looking for a double cab trd 4x4 with everything i can get in it, but i was told that they did not have the push button locking rear differential, is the correct and or did they change that in 2010?? hope to hear from you thanks

@VerbalPoetz As long as you get the TRD Off-Road package, there's a push button locking differential.

@LaGrangeToyotaScion now would that include the towing package and the 6 ft box?? and what is the difference from the TRD sport and the TRD off road?? cuz im wanting this thing fully loaded. possibly with leather as well. and what did change from the 09 to the 10. and did the 09's have the same option for the diff??

@VerbalPoetz Only the TRD Off Road has the rear locking diff. leather is not a factory option, but can be added by the distributor. There were no changes from '09 to '10. If you need the 6ft bed, you have to go with the standard SR5 package, or the TRD Sport package, that doesn't include the locking rear differential. There is not a TRD Off Road option on the long bed Tacomas.

@LaGrangeToyotaScion Incorrect. The Access Cab TRD Off Road has a locking differential AND the long bed. I know this because it is sitting in my driveway.

I just picked up mine today . I wanted white because it is so awesome looking but ended up w/ black because they did not have any white in stock of the pkg I wanted. Mine is the TRD off-road pkg w/ front skid plate and tow package. I bought it at 15 miles and put about 75 miles on it today with highway driving (55 mph) and about 12 miles of off road with 4 hi and 4 low. My first toy truck (avid jeep cj-7 & wrangler 4x4 enthusiast) and I love my awesome 4x4 little big truck!

@jo951000 Yes, there is the TRD Off-Road and TRD Sport. TRD Off-Road has more traction control features like A-TRAC and the rear e-locker. The sport comes with the sport seats, power outlet/other TRD goodies minus the traction stuff. Both have Auto-LSD (using brakes instead of mechanical diff clutches). The sport also has colormatched everything (grill, bumper, side mirrors, hood scoop). In terms of ability, Off-Road is where it's at.
