Fab song, good old brummie boys. This was video was taked at my grandads friends gym in birmingham. My grandad is in the crowd in the video and his friend don an ex boxer is acting as one of the boxing trainers. Im sure lots of brummies know some of the people in this video. Ha-ha... I have a similar tale! Aged 12 I joined a boxing club that a good mate of mine had been going to for a few years. Now I was a tall kid and they put in to spare with a small kid (don't know why?!). Anyway the trainer says to me on the side "now take it easy with him" so we come together in the ring and he socks me straight on the nose with his first punch! Eyes watering I can't see a thing so I decide there and then that the "fight game" was not for me! Good fitness training though!

I am really surprised more people on this side of the pond didn't notice the depth that this video and Red Red Wine had in terms of storytelling.

The same characters, from the main fellow, his girl, his dad, his romantic rival, the two con men...all these relationships in their complicated selves put on display and believably portrayed in less than 3 minutes each.
