How is this any different to your average guide or assistance pooch? In fact those are taught to do a lot more around the house. I think any dog can learn with the right training and rewards in place, its all about the willingness, patience, understanding and determination of the owner and not so much the intelligence of the canine..

Lots of dogs can learn through imitation. There have been several studies performed in Hungary on this.

We have unfortunately under-utilized their potential to actually learn this way.

Love your doggy...he is awesome and loves you or he would not do all of the tricks. AND taking him to the nursing homes is a real treat for all of those people. I know because I did the same with my 2 doggies! It is a blessing. God bless you!

haha. Cool dog. But he kinda looks like that fish thing on Oddworld, y'know that xbox game? Yeah, I think his eyes look like the short fish dude. But shake isn't impressive at all. My dog knew how to do that...and we didn't even teach her! We just stuck out our hand and she put her paw on our hand. But everything else is kinda cool.
