Seems kind of dumb that the refs don't wear helmets. They have wheels on their feet, they are out on the floor, they should have helmets on their heads.

fyi on the ref... she went to the hospital; had a bad concussion and neck sprain, was unable to skate the rest of the meet, and was hurt enough to make them unsure if she could fly home; all because the skater wasn't looking where he was going. I can't remember if he even went and made sure she was ok later.
