Bad taste? Every show this guy does is in bad taste. Now, nobody watches him ... so who the hell cares?
I'll name one wrong fact. A minute & half into this screed of bullshit, KO claims we didn't get "anything from him (KSM) until we buddied up to him". That's a crock of shit.
The fact that you think he's a truth teller is hilarious. Nobody twists facts and spins like this guy. You obviously like your news as biased as possible. Too bad. RIP KO.
@klrdotorg What did we get from KSO before we stopped the torture? Bin Laden, a real plot, or anything? Did Bush just sit on that info for a couple years? By the way his rating now match Bill-O who is Fox's biggest guy so I'd say both sides of the news are about equal.

These "terrorists" wouldn't exist if it weren't for the Bush dynasty arming these people and then pissing them off to the point of violent acts.

They waterboarded him 183 times, not 10 times. And it's very convenient of Republicans to argue that they prevented other terrorist attacks and use that as a selling point. It's like saying "Yeah, I crashed the car into a tree. But then I didn't get into another accident the whole ride home. So therefore I did a good job at not getting into accidents."

I think the definition of torture is based on international law. You can't just make up what is torture and what is not, I don't think the US would be too happy if their soldiers were tortured by foreign countries.
lan7570: You remark that: "I don't think the US would be happy if their soldiers were tortured by foreign countries?" What planet are you from? Do you think it helped them gather any intel, or did they just use it for false confession and false assertions that the West is bad? Do you seriously want to go to their level?
"Happy?" What planet are you from? The only country that treats prisoners better than they get treated at home is the U.S.. When our servicemen are taken prisoner they get beheaded. So who the fk are you trying to shit about being happy?

Just don't bitch when other countries (ie not AlQuada since it is not representative of a country) do the same thing to your servicemen.

Obamas first-year legislative agenda, we know what kind of a war he intends to wage.
It is no wonder that markets are imploding around us. Obama is giving us the War on Business.
Imagine that some hypothetical enemy state spent years preparing a Manchurian Candidate to destroy the U.S. economy once elected. What policies might that leader pursue? discourage private capital from entering the financial sector, repeatedly promise a brilliant rescue plan, but never actually have one...
Obama should start with and investigation but he should leave it up to the Justice Department to carry out the investigation. There are more important things that Obama should be concentrating on such as turning the economy around, withdrawing troops from Iraq, and turning the tide of the war in Afghanistan, but he should start with an investigation.
He's there to help democrats get perspective so they understand what it is that Fox News fans get out of their rabid multitude of frothing pundits. It's a guilty pleasure.
He's also there to show the Fox fans how stupid their pundits look to us. Sadly this is lost on them. I have yet to see a Republican see or hear anyone they disagree with without describing them all the exact same way, as if Olberman, Madow, Cafferty, and Stewart were all the same person.
Bush/Cheney and all their Republican henchmen must stand trial for WAR CRIMES and TREASON! I never gave them permission to torture people in my name and in my book that is TREASON!
Yes, and I never hear anyone use that word, they say just WAR CRIMES! But Bush betrayed this whole country, he committed treason; anyone else who had committed such crimes would be awaiting the hangman right now! If the law isnt the same for everyone, then there is no LAW!
I want to see them all hang, because that is what would happen to anyone else committing treason during war time!
It is soooo refreshing to have Keith Olberman & Rachel Maddow tell the American public, the truth for a change.
FoxNews has lost so many viewers because FakeNews pundits lie too much and their lies & smear & fear propagabda for the Conservative RatpubliConmen, get repeatedly exposed by Keith & Rachel.
This is never going to happen. That's what Obama and Bush's little meeting before Obama took office was about, no doubt. Obama is not going to investigate into the torture.

But that's why Keith is there.

Yes they need prosecuted, but the first task is getting the country headed in a sustainable honorable path.
Far too many bought the idea that torture works. It does not.
To find the truth, give a truth drug and hook them up to a lie detector.
To make them confess to crimes even if they are not guilty, just torture.
We know what happened.
Torture was used to acquire information about Iraq being a threat and having weapons of mass destruction as an excuse to invade.
There is no excuse.

Bush/Cheney and all their Republican henchmen must stand trial for WAR CRIMES and TREASON! I never gave them permission to torture people in my name and in my book that is TREASON!
Hang em all, and put it on cable! (smile)

Agreed. Bush, Cheney and many of their underlings are demonstrably guilty of treason.

Long live MSNBC,

Obama fooled you

This is never going to happen. That's what Obama and Bush's little meeting before Obama took office was about, no doubt. Obama is not going to investigate into the torture.
